A peaceful retreat
When we arrived I was surprised to realise I’d booked a house set in its own grounds. It is by far the best accommodation I have ever rented for a holiday at this price. The house is well equipped, clean and very comfortable. My friends and I wanted to walk, read and rest - this beautiful house proved to be ideal. Jose and Teresa were so friendly and supportive- knowing they were at the end of the telephone added to the experience, nothing is too much to ask. In summary - wonderful holiday venue in a beautiful natural setting with lots of walks and nature to enjoy.

Hosts were fantastic. Villa has everything you need.. has a great outdoor BBQ area next to the pool. Inside the villa is spotless and ver spacious, supermarket and restaurants are a 7 min walk.

Absolutely stunning mountain villa
Theresa@jose were fantastic hosts,very helpful and informative of the area.Personally showed us around the villa and came to say goodbye on our departure. The villa is very clean with everything you need.Stunning views and outside space is vast with a lovely fountain in the grounds.The quaint village of Almogia was friendly and beautiful. We can’t wait to return to the peace,beauty and tranquility ❤️

The perfect villa
Teresa & Jose are fantastic hosts and went above and beyond any other property owners we have encountered encountered. The villa was spotlessly clean, comfortable and exactly the way it was listed. It has all the amenities you could ask for. The setting of the villa was beautiful with scenic mountain views. The pool was at a perfect temperature and regular cleaned and maintained by Jose during out stay. We loved the small town of Almogia with its great selection of bars and cafes. Without a doubt the best property we have ever rented. Many thanks Jose and Teresa. We hope to be back soon.

Exactly what we hoped for a peaceful retreat in the Spanish hills.
This villa was very clean well maintained exactly as described a fabulous place to relax , with the perfect environment to holiday and unwind under the Andalusian sunshine. The owners Teresa and Jose were always at the end of the phone to answer or help with any questions we had and made sure we had everything we needed , Thank you both for making our stay so lovely we will definitely be back to stay at your wonderful home.

La casa está en un lugar precioso. Y los dueños de la casa estaban siempre disponibles. José fue las extra millas por nosotros y nos rescataba cuando estábamos perdidos. Es una persona tan amable y siempre nos respondía nuestras preguntas. Y nos recomendaba lugares para ir, todos muy cerca de la casa. La casa está muy cómoda y todo en muy buenas condiciones. Es un lugar lleno de paz y tranquilidad y cerca de las grandes ciudades. A todos nos gusto nuestra estadía en tan bello paraíso. Con tan bella vegetación y el sonidos melodiosos de los pajaritos. Y si volviéramos a Andalucía, volveríamos a la casa El Rueo. El lugar, y la casa es altamente recomendado, de parte de todos nosotros. Unique location with excellent hosts
This is a very unique place, and we completely enjoyed it. Orange, pomegranite, avocado, olive and Lemon trees on the grounds, which cover quite a large patch of scenic hillside. Great layout for a small family, even a second bathroom out behind the outdoor kitchen, which was completely unexpected. Jose and Teresa were so helpful and friendly, and were very interested in ensuring we had a great stay. You're going to need a car, but we really enjoyed the driving around Almogia and the immediate area. We're used to wider roads, but it made it fun. The weather (third week of March) did not allow for us to spend too much time around the pool, but it would be a great spot on a hot day. If you want to be in a rural (but not too rural) setting, this place is an excellent choice.

Just Perfect
This must be one of the best properties we have rented over many years visiting Andalusia. Really absolutely faultless with every amenity you could wish for. Without doubt the best pool and outdoor kitchen, the pictures don't do them justice. The house is spotlessly clean and the bedrooms are a good size with very comfortable beds. The open plan living area is ideal and on chilly spring nights the incredible log burner was most welcome. Almogia is a pretty little mountain village with very friendly bars and restaurants. We enjoyed some really lovely meals and truly excellent tapas. Although our Spanish is very limited everyone we met was most welcoming and appreciated our efforts. What can I say about Jose and Teresa, they were fantastic hosts from booking to leaving. Nothing was too much trouble and they helped in more ways than I can mention. They met us at the property on arrival and were there to wave goodbye when we left. Highly recommended
