Property has been beautifully updated. We booked a room with a balcony overlooking the sea and decided to change to one with a patio - I would recommend, we loved that extra little bit of space inside the room and the patio with sunbeds, well worth the extra cost Good breakfast (particularly coffee) GREAT Close to everything There is a nice harbour in the next bay Great staff, professional and friendly

Very lovely spot opposite the sea and very nice Italian restaurant attached to the hotel. A little more of personal communication at the hotel would be appreciated. I didn't feel much of a welcome

Lovely boutique hotel right by the beach
We really loved this hotel and its slightly quirky nature. There is plenty of parking, it sits right by the beach, you can borrow a bike if you want, the breakfast is fresh and expertly prepared, there is coffee, juice, water and chocolate in the room and the beds are very comfortable. I’m already thinking of booking again.

Excellent beach front hotel
The service was excellent, comfortable, modern room and great location. Easy parking behind the hotel and delicious pizza at the adjoining restaurant. The included breakfast buffet was superb!

Fantastic stay
We had a fantastic stay. The hotel was over and above our expectation. Stylish kodern but still extremely comfortable. My only criticism is that perhaps the bathroom door could have the hotel logo on as I walked into it 😅.

September Stay
We had a lovely four nights in Boutique Peña Parda, lovely hotel in and excellent location. the food in restaurant Mercato was very good and with the added bonus of being able to takeaway, we brought some back to the room to enjoy on the balcony. We will definitely be back.

This hotel is RIGHT across from the beach in La Herradura. You can walk to the beach in less than one minute. The views from the terrace are stunning and even the SHOWER has an incredible view of the sea. Our room was on the small side but you're not going to want to spend much time there with the sea and the views of it. The hotel is on the quiet end of the beach, but in 15 minutes you can walk to numerous restaurants at the busy other end of the beach. I much prefer it this way - stay in the quiet area and easily walk to the busy area if you wish.

We had a great stay at Peña Parda. It has a great location, and our room with the patio was lovely. The staff were welcoming and helpful.

Stylish but not the place off-season
This is a stylish boutique hotel at the very end of sleepy La Herradura beach. The room is really nice, beds comfy, but it's a small room, made better by our choice to book a room with deck. Sea view balconeys and decks seem a tad pricey so we got "mountain view." The bathroom is also stylish but in other hotels they have provided shutters for the glass-wall between bedroom & WC: not here. A mistake easily fixed - add a Roman blind! Biggest issue: we booked based on the hotel having a restaurant - only after checking in did we discover it was closed Jan & Feb. Days later still have not "fixed" their ad. That wouldn't be SO bad except ALL restaurants & cafes at that end of the beach are also closed for breakfast & dinner in Jan & Feb (only two open for lunch.) Also surprised to discover that the staff left a 5 pm and only a maid came in around 9 am. Understand it is a small hotel and as it happened we were the only guests during our stay but if felt weird being alone in the building, surrounded by shuttered businesses . Perhaps a great choice high season but unless you have a reason to be in this specific area, they are over charging for what they deliver in Winter months.

Fabulous beach front Boutique Hotel
We love boutique hotels, and this one hit the spot. It's a new hotel on the beach. Clearly a talented Architect and interior designer involved in this property. Great room with everything you need. Free large car park, free wifi. Good breakfast. There are a couple of restaurants just a stones throw away too. We really liked the place and will stay there again.

Great hotel. Nice fairly quiet location.
Excellent hotel. Nice big car park. Comfortable rooms. Good blackout blinds and soundproofing from window glazing. Quality products. Good WiFi. Nice TV. Well lit. Double bed mattress provided as requested (though bases show two singles pushed together). Sun beds are extra at 10€ per pair for the entire day. Bicycles are free to use with a 50€ cash deposit. Excellent foaming hand sanitiser automated machine by reception. Great breakfast included. Waiting staff very accommodating with breakfast choices.

Very good.
Great location. We had a first floor sea view/terrace room - worth the extra £££. Free parking useful, especially in peak season. Breakfast rather basic - room for improvement. Oddly we had fresh juice the first day, then long life the rest of the week - no excuse really on the Costa Tropical. Reception staff excellent.

Beautiful Beach View Room
Beautiful beachfront stay in La Herradura! We definitely recommend spending the extra money for the beach view room, as they are spectacular! The rooms are comfortable and modern, and the location on the quieter end of town was very nice. The restaurant downstairs is quite good, and the breakfast is very generous and delicious! Highly recommend both the hotel and the town of La Herradura.

This was a nice little hotel located on the water with great views of the bay. A bonus is that both the breakfast and parking is included and the breakfast was lovely. The only complaint is that the walls are thin and there were times where it was noisy. We tried the attached restaurant our final night and were happy we did as it was a great meal.

Week in March
Stayed during really bad stormy weather - roof blew off restaurant veranda ! Very modern hotel right on the front with small but well equipped rooms, we stayed in one with sea view and balcony. Italian restaurant and Beach bar for breakfast on ground floor - both were good. Staff really really friendly and helpful. Within walking distance of centre of town and several good restaurants/chiringuitos nearby. Free parking behind hotel.

Super clean, modern and friendly
We had a such a lovely holiday here - it's right on the beach and our room had dual aspect windows with decent views. It's super clean and modern, and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable with many speaking excellent English. As well as free Wifi, the minibar is free, refilled every day and contains chocolate, prosecco, water and fruit juice! Two things to be aware of: 1. The bed was not a double, it was two singles pushed together with separate sheets. 2. The bathroom is almost entirely glass, and not all of it frosted! If you need bathroom privacy, perhaps this is not the hotel for you. Other than that, a fantastic experience!

Fantastic
We loved this hotel but were unfortunately only able to enjoy for 2 nights. Very friendly reception staff with great English. Everything in minibar is free, free (and good) coffee in room or in lobby ... nice little perks. Rooms are clean and really modern, nothing not to like! Hotel is at the quiet end of the beach which we realky liked as well.

Hotel very new and clean. Reception staff very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Staff at breakfast not attentive. Flies around the uncovered food very offputting. Rooms very clean but a little on the small side. Stunning view from our room at the front overlooking the sea. We had a balcony but would choose room with terrace next time as these have sun beds and more space.

Das Hotel hatte eine wundervolle Lage am Ende der Bucht, 20m vom Meer und 200 m von den Bergen entfernt. Trotzdem warces sehr ruhig. Das zugehörige Restaurant ist empfehlenswert, jedoch lässt sich darüber streiten, ob man in Spanien italienische Küche möchte. Als Ausgangspunkt für Wanderer mit leichten Strandambitionen absolut zu empfehlen!

Situé à côté du canal nautique où il y a en tout temps tracteurs débarquant et embarquant les moto marines et bateau. Pas situé sur la plage principale donc à 25 min de marche de tous les restos et plage principale. Air Clim n’a pas fonctionné la 2ieme nuit (et pas de service 24h). C’était excessivement humide. Douche en plein milieu de la pièce et vitrée donc peu d’intimité si on est pas en couple. Très bon déjeuner et restaurant adjacent agréable et convivial.
