"The room was in great condition and the staff were super courteous. My two main problems were that the electronic lock was dead upon arrival and someone had to come fix it the next day. "The bathroom floor and tub was not cleaned properly. Hair in the tub and on the floor. Dirt smudges were on the floor as well. It's a good thing that I clean my room everywhere I go but I'm disappointed that I have to clean after the last person."

"The lady at the front desk was very sweet and greeted us with a smile and "Welcome" as we walked through the door. However the hotel is VERY VERY OUTDATED! Our room was clean, but the baseboards were thick with dust throughout the entire room. The wooden blunds also were dusty. The trim on tge boards up top were caked with dust and cobwebs. It is a smoke-free hotel, but our floor stunk of pot terribly. We did bring it to her attention and she said she had another complaint as well, but she wad waiting for another staff person to show up for their shift so she wasnt leaving the front desk unattended. The hot tub was out of commission. We were told it has been broke for 3 years and the owner didnt want to pay to fix it because of how much it would cost. So it just sits collecting dust and bugs. The entire building smelled old and musty throughout. The life is gone from this hotel. We have stayed at other Stoney Creeks before and never had any problems. This one is a eye sore and we would never recommend anyone to stay there. It's past due for a face-lift. If the owner can't afgord it, then time to sell it. But tge front desk gal deserves an A+ in my opinion. She was great!!"
