"Solo female traveler here. Let me just start by saying if you want to do more fun hostel partying, stay near the little volcano. If you’re here to chill and take it easy. Stay around big volcano. Unless you have a moto or car. The area around has everything you need. Restaurants both touristy and local, groceries, cafes, tour guides, etc. I felt safe and entertained but most of the activities I had to use a moto (or find a guy who had a moto haha) The room itself was very nice. No bugs or dirt. A good AC (if you hear weird noises at night, it’s most likely AC or birds on top) nice shower. The staff was helpful, all of them were very nice. The tipico food was very good. Those ladies are wonderful cooks :) I’d stay here again if I wanted a relaxing island vibe. "

"Clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly and accommodating staff! We had fresh sheets and towels every night. The servers at the restaurant were so friendly and the food was great. Private beach! Beautiful location! "

"Excellent service, safe, beautiful pools and sunset views, and excellent food at restaurant. An amazing experience- waking up in the trees, watching monkeys, a serene tranquil spot in nature. Car or side by side recommend as far from center of town and limited shuttle times only available. I will definitely return! Thank you for an excellent, truly extraordinary, experience! "

"We loved it! Staying in a jungle cabin on a volcano was incredible. My only suggestion is to update the matttresses. They were old and sunk in the middle. Other than that, we loved it!"

"Such a great place, had to extend my stay here. Breakfast is solid and cleaning is regular. Nicely situated on the hill so the view is incredible but also not far from town, walking distance. Would highly recommend."
