Great property, a few minutes walk from the old town
We enjoyed our stay at this apartment and would recommend it thoroughly. The location is great, right beside the beautiful old town where we ate every night in the wide variety of affordable restaurants. It is a 10 min walk from the sea front. The property has 2 beds and also a fold up bed. There is parking and a small pool which is easy to access from the apartment as it is just out the gate. We were the main users of the pool. There is a local supermarket 2 mins walk away. Mark (and Shirley) were very helpful and responsive and there was a nice bottle of wine on arrival. If we’re ever in Altea again we’ll be back.

Winter Holiday
Spent four weeks in the comfortable and well equipped apartment. Owner Mark was excellent to deal with and Shirley, the local contact was very helpful. The weather was not as good as we had hoped but very pleasant when the sun was shining. Plenty of restaurants in the nearby Old Town, we liked Shabby Chic, and along the long promenade, we liked Classic India and Fresco. We walked a lot and took the bus to Clape, the tram to Denia, Benidorm and pretty Vila Joiosa. Unfortunately we had a medical emergency and one of us spent two nights in the Hospital De La Vila Joiosa where the care was excellent!

My third happy stay!
I regularly choose to come stay here when visiting with family, because its comfortable, easy to manage, very located for walking into town - both the central hilltop plaza and the beachfront - as well as coming in by car. Owner Mark is very responsive as well as Shirley the local manager.

Super convenient, spacious flat near beautiful centre of Altea
Glad to be staying at this 2-bed flat again - its easy walking distance to central plaza near the church, or down to the beach. Shops nearby. Garage parking, and easy access via car to get in and out of town. Fast response from property owner, and additional support close at hand.

Fantastic
Great apartment, quiet, well equipped, nice pool, safe area. Great fans and aircon. Location great for old town and walk downhill to the beach. Luz was waiting for us with the keys and easy to get in touch with her if we had any problems which we didn't. Only downside for us were the hills but when we went to the beach we took a 5 euro taxi back. Need more information in the apartment re where the supermarket is and directions to old town without having to walk up lots of stairs as we had to experiment which was not great in the heat. Otherwise everything great and would stay again.

Beautiful Altea
Great property with everything you could want for a fabulous holiday. Ideally placed for the stunning old town where we spent every evening. Great restaurants and bars with the most traditional laidback Spanish atmosphere but at the same time bustling. Did not have one bad meal. The beach is very pebbly but El Albir nearby is better but if you want sand, Calpe and Javea are the ones to head for. Enjoy!!

The apartment was perfect for what we required, clean and tidy and an excellent location. Small pool for the kids. Parking space too, which is a big bonus for central Altea. Kitchen was well stocked with cups and plates etc., and plenty of towels, including some for the pool. Prompt correspondence with the owner and housekeeper very helpful. Thank you for a great stay. We would highly recommend this accommodation for anyone visiting Altea.

Wonderful stay in Altea
Lovely apartment set right in the heart of Altea. It really is a home from home. You feel like you are staying in someone’s home rather than a holiday apartment, it has everything you need. Very good air conditioning throughout (which was very welcome as it was so hot while we were there). The apartment is on the ground floor, next to a small shared pool which we had to ourselves much of the time. Mark was very helpful when we booked the apartment and answered our questions very promptly. There was a lovely added touch of a welcome card & bottle of wine from Mark and his family. Luz is the local key holder who we met on arrival. She is lovely and really helpful, she kept in touch with us via WhatsApp with helpful tips and to check everything was ok. The apartment is just on the edge of the old town and is just a few minutes walk to the many bars, shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful few days in Altea and have no hesitation in recommending this apartment. We will hopefully be back again!

Matk was very helpful when booking the apartment and sorting out all the arrangments travel cot and high chair. The apartment was more than we expected it was like being home from home. Lovely apartment with all the home comforts. Very clean and spacious set right in the heart of Altea. The added touch of a welcome card and bottle of wine on arrival was so lovemy. Luz who met us to let us in and show us around was very friendly. As this was our 1st family holiday with our 8month old daughter we couldnt of asked for a better place to stay. Thank you mark for making are holiday one to remember. I would definitely recommend this place and we will hopefully be back again.

Fabulous apartment in beautiful town
Wonderful week in a lovely apartment in beautiful Altea. Organisation was incredibly straightforward as communication from Mark is prompt and he was very accommodating. The apartment is extremely comfortable, very well appointed - and was exceptionally clean. Luz, who welcomed us, was charming and anxious to help. The location of the apartment is key. Being on the ground floor of a small complex it is a handful of steps from the patio to the pool, which we rarely didn't have to ourselves. It is also fabulously located for the restaurants and bars of the old town, a 3-minute walk to a great bakery and a supermarket and 10 minutes from the beach. I can't fault it!

A great apartment in a fantastic location
A beautiful apartment with everything you could ever require. Like a home from home! A pretty Patio leads onto a quiet pool. Almost felt like our own private pool. Location couldn’t have been better. A 5 minute walk leds you to the Old Town with fantastic restaurants and bars set around a busy square. The Beach (pebble) is a 10 minute walk; is set alongside restaurants and bars all reasonably priced. There are a lot of steep hills and steps but you do get used to them! On arrival we were greeted by Luz who was friendly and helpful. Mark was very prompt to reply to any queries or questions. We would definitely recommend.

Casa Leah
We stayed in this lovely appartment for 10 nights. We chose this appartment because it had two bedrooms and a bath. The bath has been taken out and a walk in shower been put in its place - that is my only negative, which will probably not bother any other person! The appartment is fully equipped with absolutely everything you could possibly need. The pool was rarely used by anyone else and was right outside the appartment, almost felt like our own private pool! We didn't arrive until quite late and a lovely lady called Luz met us. She explained everything we needed to know and even gave me her wotsapp so I could contact her if necessary (which it wasn't) Altea is very, very hilly, you will probably go home fitter than you arrived! The beach is not at all sandy, not even pebbly, but stoney. There are lovely beaches up and down the coast. There are plenty of restaurants and local cafe bars all very reasonably priced. There are also plenty of shops and a couple off supermarkets for all your bits and pieces. The train was very cheap and reliable, and we used it a lot to go sightseeing. We did have a beach day at nearby Calpe which is a lovely town a little way along the coast. We heard very few other English voices here which was a bonus for us. All in all we had lovely time and if we were to return to this area we wouldn't hesitate to return to this appartment.

Lovely apartment in a great location
Thanks Mark, Luz and Coni for a fabulous holiday. Communication was excellent from start to finish and everyone was so helpful. The apartment is in a quiet residential block where this apartment has access directly to the pool area. It was so quiet though, we had the pool to ourselves all week. Only downside is that it is closed from 15 - 17 for the Spanish Siesta. The apartment is located in a great position, right next to the old town which is best explored by walking up the many steps from all sides (you do get used to it !). There are loads of good restaurants in the small streets and also down at the beach area which is a 10 minute walk. There are a couple of supermarkets within a 5 minute walk - we used Hiperbee mostly as it was a bit bigger and didn't close for the siesta. A fabulous bakery (panadería) was used every day as well for fresh bread which was also 5 minutes walk. The underground parking was great too for keeping the car safe and cool. In summary, we loved Altea and loved the apartment!

Relaxing and perfect
We stayed in June for a week and were blessed with superb sunshine all week. Booking was easy and had excellent communications with the host in getting the keys etc to the apartment. The neighbours are all lovely and welcoming. The apartment has excellent facilities like fast broadband, Smart TV (for Netflix etc) and Digital UK TV, underground parking if needed. The apartment is very clean throughout with a nice patio area by the pool. The local area has supermarkets, plenty of lovely restaurants and a cool ice cream parlour. Nice nights out. Altea has a stoney beach but there are plenty of sandy beaches a short drive away with Calpe and Benidorm either side. We had a brilliant relaxing time and would definitely recommend it for anyone who are looking for a clean and well equipped apartment in an ideal location to everywhere else. Great for couples or a couple of couples. Thank you for a great stay. W & L

Modern apartment in perfect location
My husband and I booked to stay in Altea for 11 weeks from January 2018. Mark could not have been more helpful or accommodating during the booking process. Coni, who greeted us was lovely and friendly and there to help if we needed it. Casa Leah is fab, secure underground parking, good sized bedrooms, comfortable living space and kitchen and very well equipped. There is a lovely pool area which we sadly didn't use as it was still a bit nippy. The location of the apartment is perfect, a couple of minutes stroll up to the beautiful old town and a 10/15 minute stroll down to the beach and promenade. Everything you could need is within a few minutes walk from the apartment - places to drink, eat, food shop etc. Don't miss the fantastic market which is held on Tuesdays! I couldn't recommend Casa Leah highly enough.

A wonderful apartment in a lovely location
Although we only stayed at the property for 3 days we had a wonderful time. The apartment is ideally situated in a residential area but only a five minutes walk from the old part of Altea which is very picturesque with cobbled streets, amazing views and has lovely restaurants and gift shops. We had a nice meal on our first evening at a restaurant called Stromboli out on the roof top terrace. The apartment itself is very comfortable and was ideal for 4 people. We stayed in August when it was very hot but it was wonderful to have air conditioning in the lounge and both the bedrooms. We made good use of the swimming pool and during our stay we had it to ourselves as none of the other residents seemed to use it. Mark was excellent to deal with and responded very quickly to all my e mails. I highly recommend this apartment for those who want to experience the real Spain away from the large tourist areas.

Great apartment with great facilities in a great location
We so enjoyed our brief stay in Altea. The apartment was perfect for a relaxed time with the pool being just steps away and there being all you need for a comfortable holiday. It's so handy to the square and all the amazing streets that run off it. Plenty to see and eat as you roam the old town. The hosts and on site property manager are so pleasant and helpful. This is my fifth time back to Altea and back to the apartment. I have enjoyed every year!
Mark is very helpful prior to the trip and Con is around should you need any help while you are there. The Aparrment is in an ideal location, on the doorstep of the old town and a 15 minute walk to the beach front or train station. The apartment is modern and clean with all the facilities you could need. I will definitely be back next year!

Enjoyed our first visit to Altea. The apartment is ideal for access to the old town and a 10-15 minute walk down to the beach front. The apartment itself is very clean and well laid out with 2 good sized bedrooms with aircon. There is outside seating and a pool which was quiet as the complex is more a residential space than a holiday complex. We paid for the Wifi which was good. Coni the 'manager' stays nearby and was always available to answer any questions. The underground parking was a bonus as well. Recommended.

A great apartment in Altea
The property is well appointed and has everything you need to have a great holiday. Its situated in a great position really close to all the restaurants, bars and shops. The square at the top of the hill has wonderful views of the surrounding area and at night is full of people enjoying everything Altea has to offer. The tram station isn't that far away and gives you the opportunity to visit many more towns up and down the coast for a few euros. We had a great time and would come to this apartment again in the future.

Just returned from a weeks stay in this apartment. Great location in the center of Altea old town, which had lots of great restaurants to choice from. Good size apartment for a family of 4. A real home from home all the equipment you need for the beach including picnic bag!. The pool was used by our boys but a bit to cool for the adults. The owner was great to deal with answering all questions we had. Coni the lady who looks after the apartment was very friendly and had lots of good advice. If returning to Altea we would stay again, would recommend to anyone wanting to stay in Altea

Perfect week
Casa Leah was perfect for our Easter week away. We had a really warm welcome from Coni, and spent the week following the recommendations provided by the owners. Great location for some outstanding restaurants and cafes, and a really good base to explore other nearby towns. The flat itself has everything that you need and more, and is clearly kept in fantastic condition. All in all a great value week in the sun, we can't wait to return.

Lovely apartment!
Just got home after 12 nights in Casa Leah,Altea. A great apartment,with a well equipped Kitchen. The lounge/ diner was very comfortable, and it was good to have English tv...not that we go on holiday to watch tv but it was good to keep up with the recent world events! We didnt use the pool just because it was November and a little chilly, but it was only about 4 steps away from the patio! Casa Leah was well placed for the old town,Church,square etc....so many amazing places to eat and drink even if we were out of season! Altea is on a hill,so not very good for people with mobility problems! In saying that we came home fitter than when we arrived! Mark was a pleasure to deal with over the booking and gave us some great info on the area before we arrived. Coni the manager and next door neighbour was very pleasant and helpful on our arrival. All in all a successful holiday! Thank you!

Lovely, central, clean apartment!
We are back after 2 weeks in Altea. We loved every minute. The apartment was perfect. Even though it's a rental it really did feel loved and lived in. A library of books, CDs and area guides. Loads of clean towels and comfy beds. Comfy couches for siestas! We loved the family bakery at the bottom of the steps past the school as well as a soccer play area for our son. Coffee stop for us! The pizzeria at the top of the steps was great for a sneaky snack some evenings. Staff so friendly in both places. Two weeks was not long enough to explore and visit all the restaurants nearby so we will have to come back. The main square was only minutes away. We walked to Albir a lot as well as taking the tram to nearby towns. It was special coming home to the old town every evening. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Perfect apartment in Altea old town
Myself, my husband and two teenage daughters have just returned from a wonderful stay at Casa Leah. The apartment was in a perfect location, 3 minutes walk from the beautiful old town on the hill with it's wonderful shops and restaurants and around 15 minutes walk to the beach. There are lots of supermarkets within walking distance. The apartment was perfect for our needs, just the right size for the 4 of us, immaculate and equipped with everything we needed. The kitchen was brilliant with dishwasher, washing machine, oven, microwave and extensive cooking equipment. We loved being on the ground floor with the terrace and easy access to the pool which the kids used extensively. Although it is fairly small it was never busy, we had it to ourselves most of the time and it was open from 9am - 9pm. Mark couldn't have been more helpful and friendly as a host, answering queries very promptly. I would definitely recommend Casa Leah to any friends and family and am already thinking about when we can go back!

Good size 2 bed apartment, close to Altea old town
Thank you for letting us stay in your apartment. The 2 bed apartment was spacious and had air con which was a godsend in the August heat. The apartment was simply and nicely decorated and was clean. Each room had all the equipment you need, including umbrellas and chairs for the beach. The wifi was too weak to use in the bedrooms and Sky TV only showed the basic channels but this wasn't so much of a problem for me as it was for the kids! The kitchen was small but perfectly formed with every type of utensil required for self catering including a washing machine and small dishwasher. Coni, the neighbour and caretaker was fantastic and able to answer all our questions. The apartment is in a block of mixed residents and holiday makers and has a relaxed feel. The pool is small but generally not used very much during the day. As the apartment is on the ground floor it has the advantage of being right next to the pool with a lovely little patio area so you can always see when it's free and sit outside under the umbrella. The apartments are next to an empty building plot although no building took place while we were there. The underground car park is great (although tight and steep like many car parks around here!) but there is nowhere to park on the roads particularly in the evening and it keeps the car lovely and cool. Altea old town is a quick (although up hill) walk where there are lovely restaurants and bars, all very reasonably priced. It's a lovely place to stroll about on a hot evening. A downhill walk to the sea front and there are also nice places to eat and a lovely stroll or run (if you're feeling energetic and it's not too hot!) along the promenade. Altea beach is stony but clear so if you go down here be sure to take or buy beach shoes (approx. 7 Euros locally). Calpe beach is about 15 minutes drive further north and has great sand and a brilliant inflatable for the older kids. There were cars everywhere when we went, but it was peak time. We found an underground car park right next to the beach which only cost about 1.80 Euros per hour which we thought was reasonable considering location. Guadalest village and Les Fonts De L'Algar are both well worth a visit and only about 25 mins by car, but get there early in peak season as it gets busy and don't park in the first car park you come to at Algar - go a bit further and pay an extra Euro to get closer!

Great location, old town easy accessible.
We have visited Altea on many occasions, this is our second time staying in this property. It is convientienly located close to the old town, only a five minute walk to the beach front ideal for the needs of our family. The apartment is clean and well furnished and easily maintained, the pool iis very accessible and a great facility in the intense afternoon sun, a welcome respite from the heat. We enjoyed the restaurants and night life in Altea which are very family orientated. Overall , a very relaxing enjoyable family holiday.

Lovely apartment close to the Old Town with all the amenities needed in a quality holiday apartment.
This is my third stay in Casa Leah, I keep coming back because I love it here. The apartment is clean and nicely laid out. Coni made us welcome and was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The setting of the apartment so close to the Old Town makes for perfect evenings out wining and dining or browsing in the many small artisan shops in the delightful cobbled streets. The beach and sea front is only a short walk away and the train station means that you don't need a car to visit other beach resorts in the area. I for one will be returning!

Todo genial!
Casa limpia y acogedora, en una zona tranquila pero a 5 minutos andando del casco antiguo que es precioso. Es tal y como se ve en las fotos, tiene una pequeña piscina, pero en la que apenas se baña gente. El garaje, aunque de difícil acceso, es un plus. Amazing experience
The apartment is very nice and clean. Communication with the owners was just excellent and we had no problems with checking in, the stay, or the checkout. The apartment had two sleeping rooms and a pool outside and a garage place. It is just a 5-10 mins walk from the beach and a 2 min walk from the church, which is the lively center of the village in the evenings. Just amazing. We highly recommend the place and thank Mark for the hospitality.

Emplacement de choix pour village de charme
Nous avons passé deux belles semaines de vacances. L'appartement est conforme au descriptif et idéalement placé pour profiter du charme des soirées à ALTEA LA VELLA. Les procédures d'arrivée et de départ sont simples et efficaces. Les plages d'Altea sont constituées de galets mais il est aisé et rapide d'aller profier des plages de sables des communes limitrophes. Calp, Villa Joyosa etc. Ne pas hésiter à tester les restos moins "mode" mais apprécié des locaux (exemple: racon de toni). Vous serez dans un lieu de vie avec des personnes qui résident en permanence sur place. Le respect de ces personnes et de leur lieude vie est essentiel.

nice apartment
We had a really nice holiday. The apartment was clean and had everything needed, especially in the kitchen. It was near to the center of the old town, but still in a quiet street. We really enjoyed our stay there.
