Nice little apartment in Altea
Well located and convenient, although near a busy road with some road traffic noise in the early morning. Apartment a little tired, but everything worked and we enjoyed our 4 day stay. Good recommendation for authentic local restaurant from the owner and great communication to help us find the place and get the keys.

Stay in Altea 1st week of september 2019
The hosts were very helfull. The property is near to the beach as described however it is up a steep hill. The property is spacious with a modern bathroom and tv. The double bed is very small and very hard and we found it impossible to sleep on the same bed. I also had to use ear buds at night as the property is within 100mts of dual carriiageway whivh is busy day and night. There is a nice large terrace which gets the sun in the morning only. There were sunbeds laid out but we were unable to use these as there is no real sun on the terrace. The kitchen is poorley equipped and f frying pans are imposdinle yo clean Thete is a shared singke plug point for the toaster ann microwave. Washing machime was handy. The airconditioning in the livong room is very useful but as soon as you use it water drains to a bucket on the balcony. We were emptying the bucket twice a day. We were advised on arri al of this. The shower room whilst mofern remains waterlogged for hours after use as the fall on the shower is insufficient. The holiday was saved by the pool area. Owners were nice. But would not stay again mainly fue to noise a d the uncomfortable small bed.

Dear Richard, Thanks for your feedback. We do appreciate your comment regarding the bed. We have already changed it recently. However, I would like to remark some of your points. In regards to the dual carriageway that split the town in two -seaside and old town-, it is a constant to every Altea's apartment by the coast. Nevertheless, the traffic has reduced significantly from January 2020 since an alternative highway has been opened. Then, Altea is picturesque village due to its hills, but our place is located by the very bottom of one of them -it might take you 30" to reach our apartment from the sea level-. P.S. You are right. You can only sunbath in our terrace during the morning as the apartment faces East, but then there is a pool area waiting for you 😉

Good apartment
We had a lovely week in altea with the seafront easily accessible from the apartment. The apartment was plenty big enough for what we needed it to be. Isabel was easy to contact and responded quickly. The double bed however was small and hard which meant sleep was not as restful as we would have liked. The pool was fantastic and a great way to cool off in the heat. There was an issue with us being locked out due to a deadbolt moving over the door after the door was shut but Isabel responded to this quickly. The main downside of the apartment is it's proximity to a very busy main road. The noise although no extreme was constant which meant sitting on the very large balcony was slightly spoiled. Overall though this is a good place to stay - thanks Isabel

Dear Leigh-Ann, Thanks for your feedback. We do appreciate your comment regarding the bed. We have already changed it recently. By the way, the dual carriageway has reduced significantly its traffic from January 2020: an alternative highway has been opened outside the village. Hope you will enjoy more our terrace -if you decide to come back!

Excellent stay between the beach and old town of Altea
When we arrived to the apartment we were delighted to see it was just as pictured and even better! The apartment was nicely decorated and the large terrace was an added bonus! There were two sun loungers and a dining table for four. The main road is about 150 meters away from the terrace side, but there are other houses and trees between so the traffic noise was not that bad. The apartment has two bedrooms. The main bedroom has a narrow 130-140 cm wide double bed. The other bedroom has two separate beds which are wide (perhaps 90 cm), but a bit short for our 185 cm son. The kitchen is nicely equipped and we did not have any problem cooking most of our meals there. There is also a washing machine out in the kitchen terrace. The apartment complex has four floors and this apartment is one floor up from the pool side and two floors up from the terrace side. There are some 15 apartments with mainly local residents so the pool was usually empty during day times. The pool is excellent with very warm water, our junior did enjoy it very much. It is really just about 150-250 meters down to reach the beach and the nearest supermarket, so the location is very good. You will appreciate the location even more when you walk up to visit the old town as you are already quite high to start with. Please note that Altea beaches are rocky beaches with rather sharply deepening waters so they are not good for small children. We did drive to Calp where there is a perfect sandy beach for children, much better than Benidorm. During our stay early July the big waves were also a problem on some days. None of the beaches in Benidorm, Altea or Calp have any wave breakers so if the sea is rough the waves are big. Communication with Isabel was very easy, she speaks excellent english. She was very helpful all the way and responded to emails very fast. Her parents did give the keys and came to change the gas when it run out. They were very nice, but did speak only a few words of english. The wifi did work nicely. We did use AC during the nights and it worked great even though the cooling unit is only in the living room. There are ceiling fans in the bedrooms and when we kept the fans on and doors open the cold air did circulate around the apartment. The apartment really had all we need so we would most likely choose this same apartment if we come back to Altea some day. Thank you Isabel!

Good location
The apartment had everything you need and was adequately furnished. However it is close to 2 very busy roads which spoiled it slightly for me as I am a light sleeper. Lots of bars restaurants ect nice and quiet

Excellent Apartment
Very comfortable apartment in a great location ideal for exploring the surrounding area. Handy nearby supermarket Masymas and plenty of restaurants all within easy walking distance. If you have a car there is a garage. Also, there is a nearby bus stop and train station. Excellent WiFi we really enjoyed our stay.

Great location
This apartment is in a great position at the end of Altea nearest Albir which is a 20 minute walk away along the seafront so you have the advantage of both areas. The apartment was clean and tidy, has a large balcony where we spent a lot of time. The kitchen has everything you would need. Lots of utensils and dishes for a short or long stay. The owners met us on arrival and were very helpful. Fab pool with sunbeds and umbrellas. Nice for lazy days. Railway station 5 minutes away. A train ride to Calpe is a must. Unfortunately, could not train to Denia as track awaiting repair. Calpe has a lovely sandy beach. All restaurants and bars in Altea are good and we spent many a happy time in Difference cafe which is minutes walk from the apartment.

Verschrikkelijk abominabel ellendig!!!
Alles was KAPOT! De helft van de tijd was er geen warm water!!! Er werkt maar één kookplaat en er is maar één kookpot, de rest was zo versleten dat wij er niet konden in koken! De elektriciteit springt ook voortdurend uit!!! Koken in die keuken is bijna onmogelijk gezien er dus maar 1 pot en 1 pan en 1 vuur is en weinig licht. De stoelen zijn versleten en doen pijn aan de rug, de tafelpoten vielen uit de tafel zodanig dat de tafel uit elkaar viel! Er is ook heel veel lawaai van de straten en de carwash je kan niet buiten genieten. Ook veel lawaai van de buren want de muren zijn van karton je hoort alles wat de buren doen. De badkamer stinkt naar de riool. De garage is heel klein. Er is ook geen grote spiegel en in de badkamer is onvoldoende licht en de verwarming niet brandveilig, dus gevaarlijk. Tot overmaat van ramp is de huiseigenaar Jara verschrikkelijk onbeleefd! Wanneer ik meldde dat er geen warm water was dan is de eerste keer een technieker gekomen maar de tweede keer zei ze dat ik maar TWEE DAGEN moest wachten en het water niet mocht laten lopen!!! Voor het kookfornuis heeft ze een technieker gestuurd die de kookplaat NIET gemaakt heeft, maar wel een luchtrooster heeft geplaatst wat dus NIETS hielp!!! WIJ moesten dus altijd in het appartement blijven voor werken die niets hielpen!!! Jara heeft zich niet verontschuldigd maar is mij beginnen stalken via telefoon door heel de dag te bellen, wat ik kan bewijzen. De meest onaangename accommodatie ooit! HIER NIET BOEKEN!

Llevamos alquilando nuestro apartamento desde hace muchísimos años y es la primera vez que nos ocurre algo similar. La mejor prueba de ello son los comentarios que tiene el apartamento, y nosotras como propietarias, la gran mayoría de ellos de 5 estrellas. Así, incluyo frases de los 3 huéspedes que estuvieron en el apartamento antes que la señora Kerstin (y que pueden leer en los comentarios del apartamento): “Muy contenta con la casa. Hemos estado como si estuviésemos en la nuestra. Isabel tiene de todo. Es increíble”; “La terraza estupenda. Las camas muy cómodas. El baño muy bien y la cocina muy bien. Muy cerca de playa, el puerto y restaurantes”. “Gracias Isabel por tus recomendaciones para ir a comer y hacer excursiones”; “Wohnung sauber und zweckmäßig, gute Aufteilung der Zimmer, tolle Lage, sehr schöner Pool, Gastgeberin sehr nett, flexibel, anrwortet sehr schnell”; “La casa es cómoda, tiene todo lo necesario para estar cómodos, mucho más de lo que nos hemos encontrado en otros apartamentos. “ Con estos comentarios queda demostrado cómo es el apartamento y cómo tratamos a nuestros huéspedes, por lo que es innecesario rebatir punto por punto semejantes afirmaciones. Por último, indicar que la señora Kerstin solicitó quedarse 21 días adicionales en la vivienda sin incremento del precio, a lo que, por supuesto, nos negamos.

Muy tranquilo y cerca del puerto y de la playa.
Hemos disfrutado mucho la estancia en Altea. El apartamento está cerca del mar, cerca del puerto y de supermercados y restaurantes. La casa es cómoda, tiene todo lo necesario para estar comodos, mucho más de lo que nos hemos encontrado en otros apartamentos. La piscina muy tranquila y limpia Esta un pelín retirado del casco antiguo de Altea, a unos 15 minutos caminando, nos pareció un paseo, no fue un problema. En general nos ha gustado, si volvemos a Altea intentaremos reservar de nuevo este apartamento. Muchas gracias a la propietaria.

Buena relación calidad precio
Muy cerca de playa, supermercado, muy bien ubicado a 10 minutos andando de la iglesia y buenas instalaciones de piscina y garaje. Los propietarios responden inmediatamente ante cualquier incidencia. Por poner algo que mejorar, las camas y las almohadas no son muy cómodas y los ventiladores de techo aportan poco aire (revisar las aspas 😉). Muchas gracias por la estancia, un saludo.

Hola Javier, gracias por su comentario. Nos alegra mucho que hayan disfrutado de su estancia en Altea y en nuestro apartamento. Intentamos cuidar cada detalle para que así sea ☺️. Tenemos en cuenta su comentario sobre las camas y almohadas, es una cuestión muy personal y sentimos que no hayan sido del todo de su agrado. No obstante, comentarle que han sido renovadas recientemente precisamente con el fin de que fueran lo más confortables posible y ayudaran al descanso de nuestros huéspedes. Respecto a los ventiladores, se trata de una forma extra de climatizar la casa, pero ya saben que disponemos de sistema de aire acondicionado. Muchas gracias y un saludo.

Excellente location
Proche de la plage, du supermarché, de la ville, un appartement très fonctionnel, avec une grande terrasse et un parking privé. L'appartement se situe dans une petite résidence disposant d'une piscine collective dans laquelle il est très agréable de venir se détendre (chaises longues disposées autour et à l'ombre). À choisir sans hésiter !

Apartamento muy recomendable
Hemos estado muy a gusto en este apartamento al que no le falta detalle y todas las comodidades. Agradables baños en la piscina de esta pequeña urbanización. Muy bien situado para conocer la zona. Atenciones de Maribel inmejorables. Indicaciones excelentes y muy precisas de cosas que hacer, lugares donde tomar algo y comer. Deseando repetir. Gracias.

Prima vakantieadres
Prima vakantieverblijf. Ruim terras in de schaduwzijde . Zwembad wordt goed onderhouden. Het is niet overdreven lux, maar alles is aanwezig. Locatie is op loopafstand van boulevard met terrasjes en supermarkt. Tip: een ander en/of iets groter koffie apparaat. Komen graag nog een keer terug!

Los dueños muy amables. Super atentos en todo momento.
Buenísimo. El apartamento lindisimo. Cerca del Boulevard, supermercado, restaurantes, estación de trenes e autobús. Los dueños te explican todo. Y en todo momento les puedes contactar si no entiendes o quieres saber algo. Me enamoré del baño. Una terraza bonita para pasar la tarde después de un día visitando Altea.
