Cosy and peaceful.

I received a very warm and friendly welcome. Was introduced to my room, and ensured i was comfortable. The room was small, but very cosy and well equiped.As i was leaving early, they ensured i was provided with breakfast. A beautiful, peaceful setting and run by David and Julie who are ever so freindly and very interesting. Will definitely stay there again when im next in the area.

I booked a room for a 1 night stay. The room was small but clean and had the basics of things you need for a 1 night stay. Although I found the bed a little uncomfortable I was able to sleep. The toilet/shower were not en-suite, but across the small entry, it was clean and the shower was good. Breakfast next morning was very tasty.

Lovely home from home

Stayed here regularly over the last few months. Fantastic welcome, great location, good value for money and great breakfast. The single rooms are a touch small but I have stayed in this room several times and find it cost more than anything! Lovely couple and perfect for me!

Lovely cost stay - great breakfast

Lovey stay and welcome. Called to say I was going to arrive late and no problem at all - room was cosy and warm and perfect for a nights stay.

Flossies lovely b&b.

I spent 2 nights here & Dave & Julie were very welcoming, I had a lovely evening meal (beef cottage pie). The room was ideal the temperature outside was in the 30s & the room was lovely and cool at all times, everything was clean. There is a shop & post office all built in too so I didn't have to find somewhere to do the lottery. As I say Dave & Julie were very nice & helpful & I enjoyed my conversations with them.

Quite good value,, friendly proprietors. You have to like dogs" . Was expecting en-suite so was surprised when bathroom was separate. Not a problem though. Shower a bit old-fashioned. Only white sliced bread at breakfast . Would like a choice.

Worst B&B I have ever stayed in

Very very poor. Customer service none existent. Host was very rude throughout and made me feel very unwelcome, as if I was putting her out by merely being there as a paying guest. B&B is very rundown, bathroom was very basic and old fashioned. Room was dirty/dusty. Black dog hairs throughout the bedroom and bathroom, even all over the tray containing by tea and coffee making facilities. Wifi connection was very weak in the room. I am the kind of person that could live with the basic bathroom, poor wifi and even the general 'grubiness' of the place and would not normally leave a negative review for such points but the sheer rudeness of the female host has compelled me to write the review and warn others. Such a shame as the B&B is in a lovely quiet hamlet and could be so nice.

Lovely single accommodation and freshly cooked breakfast. Very friendly dogs. Plenty of parking space. Ideally situated for visit to Jane Austen's house etc .Interesting walk nearby. But Hotels.com could make it more clear that it is situated about 6 miles from Alton (where there is also a Station Road).

Off the beaten track!

A delightfully quaint feel with a personal touch. Quiet tiny village location but also close to pubs and restaurants etc as required. I'll certainly be back.

45 min drive to Portsmouth ferry terminal, spot on

Just the one night so as to catch ferry to Spain, lovely weekend place, folk friendly and helpful
