"Excellent hotel. Only disappointing thing was not being able to have a drink with a group of five people in the rooftop bar. They were plenty of tables for four and we were told we could only have a drink inside."

"Wonderful clean hotel and nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Breakfast was excellent. The room was amazing quality and toiletries and fruit bowl refreshed every day. Free pass for the elevator was super useful. Next time we will go for a room with outside space or a view as I think this would have made it even better. Really enjoyed our time here and would definitely return."

"A good hotel in the centre of the old town. Breakfast was small, but enough for what you need. Yoghurt, boiled eggs, toast, croissants (plain), a cake, tinned fruit, apples and cold meat and cheese. Unlimited tea and coffee was nice, especially since when we arrived it was raining. In the rooms we had on the first floor wifi was good, but on the second floor the wifi was only one bar reception and constantly dropped out, also the hot water on the second floor took about 5 minutes to warm up, compared the the first floor which was basically instant. Other than that everything else was good and having a small bar downstairs was a nice addition."

"Very charming hotel. While it is not air conditioned, we entered our suite mid afternoon to find two large fans blowing, one in each room. Location is excellent and close to everything from grocery to restaurants to sites and the market. Staff is very friendly. Would highly recommend!"

"Convenient to shops, food, and activities. We parked in a parking garage close to the hotel, but after checking in, we found that there was another garage that gave discounts to the guests. It was not mentioned before our visit, so it was a hassle. Our Expedia reservation wasn't showing when we arrived, so that was also a hassle. After some time, everything worked out, and we were free to explore the beautiful city. It is a gorgeous, well-cared-for old building with a cool layout and decor. There is a restaurant, bar, and outside dining. The room was clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was great. The building was going through exterior renovations, so the windows could not open. The a/c was woefully worthless (the temp was set and unmovable), and bc there wasn't a fan, the air sat still in the room and bathroom. Towels were available in a wardrobe in the hallway (this was great)! Would we stay again? Probably, but we will bring a fan. :)"

"Extremely disappointing stay. The room and bathroom were not clean on arrival, and basic amenities such as conditioner and toothpaste were not provided. The air conditioning did not work, and there was no hot water in the shower, which are fundamental services that should be available in any hotel. What made the experience even worse was the attitude of the concierge, who was rude and unhelpful when assistance was requested. I raised these issues through Expedia after my stay, but the hotel declined to offer any compensation or take responsibility for the problems experienced. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this hotel and would not stay here again."
