"Overall, we had a very nice stay. When we arrived, the power to the hotel and to the surrounding hotels was out due to a transformer malfunction. However this, of course, was not the fault of the hotel. The staff was very helpful. We have two suggestions: 1) the commode in our room was so tiny and low to the ground, it seemed like a child-size commode - never saw one so tiny. 2) there are no grab bars in or around the bathtub/shower. It was a little scary not to have anything to hold onto with all the soap swirling around your feet, or nothing to hold onto when stepping in and out of the tub. Other than the above, everything was clean, the staff was very helpful, and the bedding and pillows were comfortable."

"Charming and unique property. We stayed in the New York room, which was perfect for our overnight stay. Conveniently located within walking distance of landmarks, restaurants, shopping and ghost tours. We loved our visit."

"The location was perfect for going to the battlefield and lots of restaurants nearby. They also had a crib for my baby and drink vouchers. It just seemed like outside customer service was unsure about the vouchers so make sure you call the front desk to inquire."

"My room was very spacious—larger than many rooms I’ve stayed in at other DoubleTree properties—and was nice, quiet, and comfortable. The property itself felt a bit dated, though, and the cleanliness in some common areas could have been better, particularly the elevators. Overall, I was comfortable in my room, but the shared spaces could use more attention. Parking on site is great, a ton of spaces and a garage also available."

"Wonderful Stay at Hotel Gettysburg! We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Gettysburg! The location was incredibly convenient, making it easy to explore downtown Gettysburg and all the nearby attractions. The hotel has beautiful historic charm while still being clean, comfortable, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful, and having a Starbucks right on-site was such a nice bonus for grabbing coffee in the morning before heading out. We really enjoyed the character and atmosphere of the hotel. It was the perfect place to stay during our visit to Gettysburg, and we would definitely stay here again!"
