Sunrise Apt. - Peaceful Country Setting- Reasonable Distance to Hocking Hills

Located within reasonable distance to the Hocking Hills State Parks. This peaceful country setting is located on a small farm just outside the quaint little town of Tarlton. Surrounded by 16 acres….over half of it is wooded with trails to explore. While here, take time to breathe deeply of Gods fresh country air and enjoy the opportunity to unwind from your daily pressures. APARTMENT: Sunrise Apartment is located above our 3 car garage with a staircase from our garage to enter the apartment. The apartment is a studio type room with a queen bed, a couch, a bookcase, a small table with 2 benches, a fully furnished kitchenette with a bar and 2 bar stools, a bathroom with a tub/shower combo and a bedroom with a full size bed on the other side of the bathroom that also has an entry from the staircase. Linens and towels are provided. Complimentary coffee and a few snacks. OUTDOORS: Farm animals. (Miniature horses, cows at times, Snowball the cat) Backyard Patio with a fire pit and a removable grill. Playground area. Hammock and Dbl. lawn swing. Above ground pool during the summer months. Trails throughout the woods. Another fire pit back in our wooded area CELL SERVICE/TECHNOLOGY: We have Spectrum phones which use Verizon towers - our phones do pretty well. We have free Internet with a password provided. We have Starlink satellite that runs our smart TV (bring your own subscriptions) And a Samsung DVD player (bring your favorite DVDs) We do supply a few family DVDS. But we do encourage a break from technology to totally unwind. ADDITIONAL: Country Lane Lodging also offers another vacation apartment at this location that sleeps 5 with 2 bedrooms. Sunset Apartment is located out in our barn on the far right. (google Sunset Apt. Tarlton, OH VRBO link)
LOCATION:
We are located 45 minutes southeast of Columbus, 20 minutes from Circleville the home of the Pumpkin Show, 25 minutes from Tecumseh (outdoor drama) and 15-20 minutes to Rock House one of the Hocking Hills State Parks. There is a IGA with fuel and groceries, Dollar General with groceries and a few small diners in Tarlton just a few minutes from here. And plenty more to do to keep you busy for a number of days. We really enjoyed our stay. The owners were friendly and the apartment was clean. The kids loved the fire pit, playing outside, the horses and cat. The beds were comfortable and apartment was very clean. The grounds were beautiful.

Perfect Place!

We came for a weekend getaway to Hocking Hills! The apartment was beautiful, super clean, and we loved the property. We enjoyed the pool a few times and we loved visiting with the cows and horses! We loved the 'farm' feel and enjoyed the restaurants nearby. Great place to stay. Highly recommend!

Anniversary Getaway

Such a lovely and well kept location. You wont find a quieter place. We spent the day time hiking the trails at Hocking Hills. It was so nice to come back in the evening to such a wonderful place to relax.

Great Little Place

Beautiful property! The hosts were super helpful and kind. The apartment was nice and exactly as advertised. It was the perfect location: not too far from Old Man's Cave, but also quiet and a little isolated. Very peaceful. If I'm ever back in the area, this is definitely where I'd like to stay again!

The Sunrise unit was perfect for our stay. Kitchenette had all the eating & cooking basics, beds & bedding were comfortable, bathroom was spacious & well-appointed. We spent most of our time at Hocking Hills, but will return to enjoy the beautiful woods, pool and grounds on our next visit!

Such a great property.

This is a beautiful property. We didn't get to use the pool but the animals are wonderful. They have everything you could need and were very responsive. There were no issues finding the place and it let us feel secluded without paying the fact cabin price. We will gladly go back sometime.

Little slice of heaven

We loved this place. Super clean and quality furnishings. Beautifully groomed grounds and lots to explore and enjoy. It was just my husband and I but this would be a fun place for a small young family with children because of the pool and the farm animals and playset. I would highly recommend this place :)

hocking hills area

Spent 2 nights to visit parks and trails. Beautiful well-kept property and location. Keep in mind it is a bit of a drive still to the Hocking Hills attractions, so plan accordingly. But a very nice retreat for my wife and I. Extra bed would easily sleep 2 more people. Probably a family of 6 would be comfortable here.

Property was very clean, spacious enough so we didn't even hear other guests until the end of our 5-day stay and I personally enjoyed the small things in the unit that made it feel like a home away from home (e.g. cooking utensils, pots and pans, and a few seasonings until I could make it to the grocery store). Great little "studio" apartment

We really enjoyed our time at the Sunrise apartment. The hosts were accommodating for early check in and ability to use our pellet grill outside the garage. The space isn't huge, but it is as advertised and worked great for just two of us. The additional bedroom would allow for an additional person or two if desired as well.

The only thing that could have made this stay better would have been that it didn’t rain.. but that is nothing that could be controlled. The first day my daughter and I took a little hike in the woods nearby and came up by the pasture where the horses where and she named one so lovingly “rainbow farts” (she is 6). The grounds were gorgeous and superbly kept. The apartment was very clean and tidy, and the mattress was amazing and I didn’t wake up with my back hurting. My family and I would love to come and stay again sometime in the future and hopefully be able to play outside more often since there is a playground area, and my daughter loved it the first day.

Home Away From Home

This rental is beautiful! If you have a small group this is the place for you. It's clean and tidy and has everything you need inside and out. We didn't get a chance to walk the trails on the property this time, but we have in the past and they are beautiful. We loved waking up and seeing the ponies in the pasture and enjoyed the quiet, peaceful surroundings. This is a great place to relax and unwind after a busy day hiking! We will definitely stay here again.
