About this property

Lake Quinault Lakefront - 2 King Beds and Lake-View Soaking Tub - 52A

  • Hawk’s Landing 52A pairs sweeping Lake Quinault views with two spacious king bedrooms, each with a Beautyrest mattress. The comfortable living area has large windows, modern furnishings and a Smart TV with DIRECTV.

The home has 2.5 bathrooms: a downstairs bathroom with the home’s only shower, an upstairs bathroom with a lake-view soaking bathtub and toilet, and a separate half bathroom. The soaking tub is indoors; there is no outdoor hot tub.

Prepare meals in a well-equipped kitchen with quality cookware, dishes, coffee essentials and a dishwasher. Included 50 Mbps+ Wi-Fi, laundry, and mini-split heating and air conditioning in every room make it easy to settle in. Your dedicated lake-facing deck has a BBQ grill.

The neighboring A-frame, 52B, sits close by. The decks are separated by a low stone wall about two feet high. The yard, gently sloping gravel beach trail and approximately 144 feet of shoreline are shared when the homes are booked separately. Reserve our combined 52A + 52B listing if your group would like both homes.

Wi-Fi is included, with typical speeds of 50 Mbps or more. Mobile reception is good across carriers; actual speeds and coverage can vary.

You have exclusive use of 52A’s interior and its dedicated deck. The neighboring A-frame’s interior and deck are not included. The yard, beach trail and shoreline are shared with guests in 52B.

The gravel trail to the beach has a gentle downhill slope. The home has stairs and is not step-free. Parking is available for up to four vehicles.

The only shower is downstairs. The lake-view soaking bathtub is indoors and is not a hot tub. Upstairs lake-view windows are not fully covered, so the bedrooms can receive early morning light.

The neighboring home is close, with adjacent decks separated by a low wall. Expect shared outdoor space and beach access when booking one home.

Maximum four guests and four vehicles. No pets or parties. Stays are limited to four nights. Kayaks, paddleboards and fishing equipment are not provided. Lake activities are subject to applicable tribal rules, permits and seasonal restrictions.

Outdoor fires are only permitted when current rules allow them. This is a rural forest setting with wildlife and occasional insects. Storm-related power outages can interrupt Wi-Fi and the well-water supply. Check current road and park conditions before your trip.

Enjoy self check-in, a detailed guidebook and support through Vrbo messages. Check-in is from 4 pm and checkout is by 11 am. Early check-in is available only when separately confirmed.

Explore the Quinault Rain Forest, nearby trails and waterfalls, and the scenic lake loop. Plan ahead for groceries in this rural area.

The view is amazing and the house is beautiful and well stocked. The master bedroom gets a lot of light early in the morning and there are no window treatments on the upper part of the window so don't plan to sleep in.

Beautiful setting directly on Lake Quinault, with easy access to the Olympic Park trails. The house was well supplied and had really comfy beds and furniture. The host provides great info to help you plan and prepare for the trek to the park so you can really relax and enjoy your visit. He was very responsive for any questions we had.We definitely hope to be back to enjoy the place again someday!About the area: The home is on paved roads, but to really get into the park activities you’ll want a car that can handle unpaved roads (our Subaru enjoyed its workout to hike both the Queets and Quinault rain forests and to Ruby Beach). Make sure to trek to the Salmon House on the S Shore road for dinner one night! Also, the Quinault Internet Cafe had cozy home cooked eggs and pancakes and friendly service.
