"My wife & i stayed at Tara Gardens for 16 nights. The villa was so peaceful & tranquill. The grounds were a joy to walk around, we would listen to birdsong in the morning & watch families of monkeys passing through in the afternoon. The pool was a great size & cleaned every morning. The staff were amazing, seeing to our every need. Chami would take us out any time of day in the tuk tuk & Pradeep would see to our evening meals on our return. The Fort House

10/10 Excellent

"Lovely hotel in a historical building - my room was spotlessly clean and was fully modern while also having loads of character. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great - first time I’d been served an egg hopper! Delicious!"

Cocobay Unawatuna

10/10 Excellent

"Friendly and happy staff in all areas which says a lot about how the hotel is run. Had my room unexpectedly upgraded on arrival due to a fault found with the originally booked room. The room I had did have a small issue with the private jacuzzi leaking but no major issues. Food and drink were excellent throughout my stay. Highly recommend staying here to anybody wanting a few days of relaxing peace after touring the country."

Yara Galle Fort

8/10 Good

"I’d like to say thank you for the staff but the hotel needs to make sure about the manager’s approach with the whole crew. It’s not about working by pressure but work happy. It’s not about you have a perfect service but it’s about to see no pressure in the staff’s eyes. If any guest ask to perfection and the solution will be pressure, that’s clear to no work."

Oceanfront Galle by ICC

8/10 Good

"The property was clean and convenient. The staff were helpful when requested. However, maintenance work has to be carried out in the apartment. The shower and the sink in the bathroom got flooded when used. The stove and the washing machine were malfunctioning. And the room was not cleaned during the period, though the terms and conditions state that it would be cleaned after the 5th day."
