"This is the best place I have ever stayed"

"We loved our stay here. The views are to die for! The owners were lovely and the breakfast was so big I couldn’t finish it. Loved our little bungalow up on the hill!"

"We had an amazing stay! Very family friendly, lovely room, great view and delicious breakfast. Location is perfect, walkable to the town but far enough to be nice and quiet. "

"Staff was amazing, cozy location"

"The staff at Villa Tea Fields was very kind and attentive "

"We had a lovely one night stay at Ferncliff, it was just lovely and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend as a very well run ‘b&b’ type hotel but much more luxurious. Bernard in particular was fantastic, especially his cooking — we had both dinner and breakfast there. Very glad we chose this over the ‘grand hotel’ in the end. "

"We had a wonderful stay at Villa Nalanda. Visaka is an amazing host and provided us with everything we needed. All our meals were home-cooked and delicious, the view over the mountains was just incredible, and her team is so lovely. Would definitely stay again!"

"Lovely stay with great views overlooking the surrounding hills. The lady running the hotel was very nice and helpful, sorting us taxis and a laundry service. The breakfast was really good and huge! "

"We had an absolutely wonderful stay here. Staff were amazing & so welcoming. The view is incredible & breakfast was super. We can’t wait to come again! "

"Our stay on the top floor of this hotel has the most amazing views of the entire valley. The room was quiet and spacious. "

"The room was spacious , clean & comfortable & we were very well cared for by Kapil who served us a delicious soup on arrival . We chose to walk to Jetwing St Andrews for breakfast & were treated to probably the best breakfast buffet we’ve ever had ! "

"Usually all hotels/resorts will provide towels inside their bathrooms. The resort does not. Bring your own. Book villa so that you can enjoy breakfast in the forest."

"Clean, friendly hostel. Close enough to walk into town. Helped facilitate travel to Horton Plains. "

"工作人員服務好，雖然硬件舊了一點，但整體來說性價比高，體驗不錯。提供風筒，電熱水壺，毛巾，番梘，電視，熱水洗澡。 位置於市中心，轉左行10分鐘到郵局，轉右行10分鐘有Pizza Hut超級市場好方便，行20幾分鐘到Gregory lake"

"Staff were incredibly helpful warm and welcoming. The views were amazing from our room; from welcome area and pool area. Definitely recommend this place. The room was spacious and clean. Location was 1 km from ella so approx 500 SR to get to town (uphill!) but an easy walk ( downhill ) to get back !!"

"The owner has forecast on the basic requirements of customer satisfaction, which works best. Lovely British style property with excellent customer service."

"The place was spacious and the staffs were friendly."

"Had a great stay here for 2 nights. The sheets were really lovely as were the pillows. Breakfast 2 fried eggs 2 sausages fruit platter and toast and jam, juice, water and tea or coffee."

"The place is decent and comfortable enough. The staff isn’t super helpful and hard to communicate with. The WiFi is almost never working so keep that in mind if you need wifi! Other than that it gets the job done!"

"Absolutely AMAZING. Our best stay in Sri Lanka. The owners were the loveliest couple I’ve ever met, they gave us tea and cookies when we arrived and made us the most delicious Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. They were so kind and thoughtful. Be aware that the location on maps isn’t actually where the hostel is - walk up police station road, turn right just after the left turn to the railway and carry on at this right turn until you eventually get to silver dome. It’s about 10 mins from the...
