well managed hotel with nice restaurant and bar

We stayed for 2 nights from Christmas eve to boxing day, very nicely managed hotel with a restaurant that opened on Christmas eve, and the Bar and Lounge was open on Christmas Day, very convenient for all the guests stayed for the holiday.

Staff was extremely helpful with making reservation and helping with itinerary plans. On site restaurant was good. Room was clean and simple, extra bed was brought in so three of us could stay. Such lovely and helpful staff! Very friendly and welcoming. The restaurant is fantastic, the food was amazing and a very cosy and warm ambience with the fire going. The room was spacious and very comfortable. I would highly recommend Mercure Kangaroo Island Lodge.
