Front desk guy is so pleasant and accommodating. He knows I work nights so tried to place me in rooms that don’t have occupants nearby. That alone is extremely appreciated. The rooms here have always been spotless. I’ve stayed here several occasions for work and have never been disappointed. Excellent upkeep.

I travel for work and have stayed at a few places in Ames before staying here. Let’s just say this is the only place that has felt clean, not just looked clean. I normally don’t stay at hotels that have carpet but this place had carpeting that looked like it had just been shampooed. Excellent upkeep in function and appearance from maintenance/mgmt. Guy at the front desk is always welcoming and after driving for over 4hrs that’s really appreciated.

The first room we were given had the bathroom 1/2 remodeled with candy and hair on the floor. Went to the front desk was given a different room which was good. It did need a few repairs. But it was clean and very roomy. The lobby and check in gentleman were very nice. Kids enjoyed the pool

It doesn't look like much from the outside but the rooms appear to be renovated and are very clean. Plenty of hot water in the shower, spacious bathroom and a large frig in the room. Breakfast consists of waffles and biscuits & gravy....not much but it is tasty. Lobby is nice and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Hotel is located close to Iowa State campus. I would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed in the past, were saddened the hot tub was gone. We were in a handicapped accessibility room, the shower leaked, but worked. The breakfast hours ended at 9 which seemed early. But its a great value in a great location

Our bathroom was under construction. The walls were bare drywall, there was drywall mud on the floor, the sink was barely attached. Other than that the room was fine. Good beds and pillows.

Nice hotel

The staff were very nice. The location was nice. While the hotel was clean, you could tell it was not new. The hot tub was down for maintenance and the pool was small. It was a nice stay for the price.
