About this property
Green, unique, comfortable, open loft cabin
Welcome to an exquisite, eco-friendly way of vacationing and getting away from it all! From its solar water heat to the recycled lumber, this cabin packs many eco-sensitive features to bring you comfort in style. Its artistic flair can be experienced in everything in the handcrafted countertops, the exquisite tree staircase, and right down to the mosaic bathroom floor. You'll be pleasantly toasty in the winter with the radiant heat and gas fireplace. Plenty of windows and open floorplan keeps the space light-filled throughout the day.
Need to unwind? Let the jacuzzi massage the tension away. Read a book in the airy loft. Watch a DVD. Or simply take a walk to the neighboring Cameron House (on the same property).
Biking, canoeing, trout fishing, hiking, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, are a few activities for you to enjoy on your vacation.
Eco Sensitive: This cabin was built in 2008 using sustainably harvested trees. The roof substructure and all major beams were repurposed from older buildings in the area. The building is mainly insulated with a green, soy-based spray foam insulation which keeps the interior warm and quiet.
The radiant heat and water heating system is powered through a solar / gas-boiler combination system. All makes for a quiet, even heat that foot-warming friendly. It keeps the air more comfortable and less dusty in the winter when compared to forced-air systems. This is a boon for those with indoor allergies and asthma.

Our stay at the cabin was absolutely wonderful. Owners were pleasant to work with, and check-in was very smooth. The cabin is definitely unique, with all the comforts of home. Plenty of room, with games and books to keep us occupied. Beds were very comfortable and the nature surrounding the cabin was very peaceful. It was the perfect get-away for a Girl's weekend.
This place was amazing, so quiet and peaceful. My kids love walking down to the river and just relaxing around the property. It was the perfect fall getaway.
This was just perfect for a group of friends to play board games and catch trout. Cozy just secluded enough to feel like we were away, we enjoyed every moment. A hidden gem for sure.

This was our second stay at this cabin, both times for a family reunion in the area. A very spacious cabin with all of the amenities and we loved spending time here after very active days with the rest of our large family.
We had a couple of minor plumbing issues that were dealt with quickly by the owner. Would recommend this cabin!
My friends and I rented this cabin for my bachelorette party. We loved all the living spaces and exploring every carfefully curated nook and cranny of this cabin.
The place was clean and well stocked with all the necessities. We all would love to rent this place again in the future.
Two families getting together for a first time staycation experience. The cabin, the trails, and the river were all that we needed!! Had such a great time!
This cabin was very cute and comfortable. Secluded for privacy. And was family friendly games and toy for the kids to play with. Nice short walk down a trail to the waupaca river
Great place to relax no matter the weather. We spent a weekend here and enjoyed just relaxing by the fireplace, in the hot tub, and sitting by the river. We also ventured out to some nearby hiking trails and had breakfast both mornings in Amherst.
We are 5 women on our 27th annual girls weekend. We like a cute place in an interesting location. We like to craft, eat and laugh. This rental was perfect for our needs. Very nice, clean and different.
The cabin was perfect for our yearly sister's weekend.
It's a cabin that has something for everyone no matter your age. It was well stocked with the items we needed and items that are entertaining for all ages.
Thank you.
This is such a beautiful, peaceful space. The property is filled with nature, and bordered by a quiet river. The cabin is filled with such lovely charm. Every day, we found something that we hadn’t noticed the day before. So thankful we found it!
This place is well built with lots of space. The AC kept us cool on hot days and the gas log fireplace heated the whole place quickly on the one cold rainy day we had.
Good location; easy drive to Plover, Stevens Point, and Waupaca. Lots of lakes and hiking nearby.
With so much private and peaceful nature surrounding you it's easy to just let the highway sounds fade into the background.
The cabin is unique and amazing, with decor that adds to the experience. The naturalized prairie and woodland gardens around the cabin are also beautiful, giving a daily adventure just outside the front door. The cabin is spacious, with a large loft, main floor and lower level. It easily accommodated our family group of three adult couples and two children. The frontage on the Tomorrow River has one trail to the river’s edge, where one can wade in, but nearby Hartman Creek State Park offers a swimming beach and fishing opportunities. That’s just 15 minutes away. Really enjoyed our stay, especially watching the Perseus meteor shower around the fire ring.
5 ladies arrived for a reunion weekend. The place is incredibly unique, almost like a museum in and of itself, and in a nice secluded location. We were not informed of the elevated nitrate levels in the water, so we went out to purchase drinking water. All went well until we were awoken by mice in the middle of the night. The owner quickly responded and brought traps so they should be taken care of. Overall, the house needs a thorough cleaning, dusting, cobweb removal, and decluttering. But it is exceptionally rustic and has incredible potential.
Such a charming cabin! It was cozy, and perfectly tucked away by the river — We loved relaxing on the porch and taking in the beautiful scenery. The hosts were friendly and responsive, and everything was exactly as described. This was our friend groups second time staying here and we can’t wait to come back!
