"This is a lovely apartment very well situated in the city. It is on the third floor of the building, so a lot of steps, but there are great views from the windows across to the Cathedral. The apartment is very tastefully refurbished with everything you could want for a stay in this lovely city. Thank you Jerome for making us feel so welcome."

When arriving it was a number of minutes before the reception staff answered the bell which I had to hit twice for attention. As this was a Road Trip, I had a number of bags and asked if a luggage trolley was available to be told not by the chap on the front desk. "Quaint little wooden gite in a peaceful village rural location. Great location for visiting WW1 memorials around The Somme region. Amiens is a beautiful city about 25 minutes away. We used as a base to visit Lille and Paris for the Olympic’s and both were about an hour and a half drive away. The host was constantly in touch for arrival and made us feel very welcome. "
