"Fantastic stay at the Hampshire Hog. 2 x nights 24th &25th April 2024 Staff extremely friendly, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We didn’t eat in the evening, but breakfast was very nice, choice of full English breakfast, fruit, and lots of options, which were all good quality. The room was huge, we stayed in room 14. Reception advised whatever was in the room drink or food was ours foc. Well, there was 2 large bottles of cider, 2 bags of crisps, good quality chocolate, artisan...

The inn has real character, be prepared for the sloping floors and watch your head in the bedroom and all doorways. The rooms are named after ships and you can understand why. Would definitely stay again. "

"A great place with lovely staff. We stayed as we were going to Bombay Sapphire, the staff we very helpful with telling us that the bus was the best option at just £2 and the bus stop is just opposite the pub. The evening food was good, breakfast was very good with plenty of variety. "

The room was quite basic but clean and comfortable and more than acceptable for the price of the accomodation. "Our room was very comfortable, spacious and decorated beautifully. The hotel is in a peaceful location surrounded by nature and was very quiet. All of the staff we interacted with were polite and friendly. We enjoyed a delicious meal in the pub for dinner. The only disappointment with our stay was the confusion over breakfast. In the room they advise a breakfast to go pack is available if you need to check out prior to 8am. As we needed to do that we asked the dinner staff how we organise that....
