"Wow, this place was amazing. The individual cabins gave you a sense of privacy, they were well equipped, and had everything that you needed. The Lodge is really off the beating path, but it really gives you a sense of what the island is all about. The sunset from the porch of the cabins each night was unbelievable.I can’t remember the last time I slept with all the doors and windows wide open but I did on this trip. Jerome and Fidji set up everything for my tour of the island, and I cannot thank them enough for their hospitality. They made sure everything was set up and ready to go for my day of adventure. Thank you to Kona Koa Lodge for an unforgettable time!"

"Owner and staff are wonderful. Very accommodating to English speaking guests. Easy access from the airport. Breakfast was made to order, plus a wide variety of buffet items. There’s a bakery next door that provides mouth watering aromas. Room was clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this property, and would stay again. "

"Overall, a great place to stay. Wonderful hosts. So very helpful with suggestions for things to do and places to stay that saved a lot of money. The view from the patio is wonderful. A couple of little nitpicks. There's no air conditioning so on hot nights the windows need to stay open to catch the sea breeze. Unfortunately the windows are unscreened so some mosquitos do get in. It's an easy walk to the ocean and multiple great restaurants with sunset views One of the things I like to do is visit very remote islands so I've had lots to compare and this is a lovely place with great people."
