Simple habits—like turning off lights when not in use, limiting high-energy appliances, and being mindful of overall consumption—help ensure there’s plenty of power for everyone’s comfort. Your care and consideration make it possible to preserve this peaceful, low-impact retreat for all who visit. Thank you for helping us keep it running smoothly.

This is an off-grid cabin home. Very nice! High on the mountaintop about a 4-mile dirt road but pretty well maintained. It has some little quirks but the host was able to guide us through them. Beds were very comfortable. Cabin is nice and roomy and beautiful areas outside to walk your dog or take a morning or an evening walk. Has a really nice covered porch and several fire pits. We were so busy we didn't get a chance to use them but they are there for you to use. The only negative I have to say is the lighting in the house is pretty dark once the sun goes down? It's on solar, but lights are not very bright. Bring your own personal supplies ( shampoo, soap etc..) very limited spices which is fine. Salt and pepper are great. Kitchen is pretty well stocked with pots and pans and dishes and utensils. It gets nice and cool at night, great for sleeping. Bring a light jacket or sweatshirt for the cooler nights and mornings.
