"The view from this resort is spectacular. Great location. They have tried to keep things natural along the beachfront. I am in my 70’s. Think there could be better lighting in the room itself. Perhaps more shelving to store belongings."

"This specific property was booked for our stay because it lists under amenities "complimentary shuttle service" - airport shuttle and around the area shuttle service. This was not available during our stay. We had a weekend stay. Reportedly this service is available only on week days and possibly only during specific hours. Front desk offered to hail taxi service and provided taxi contact numbers. Without shuttle service the location felt isolated. We incurred multiple unexpected taxi fees. Some restaurants were within walking distance. The Spit and town interests required transportation (4-10 mikes one way). The staff was friendly. The property was clean, quiet, and adequate. Breakfast offering was well supplied."

"What a fabulous place! Overlooking the ocean, with private path to the beach directly in front of the first tier of rooms. The rooms are basic but super clean, with coffee maker and big windows looking across the bay to beautiful mountains of Kenai Peninsula. Manager super helpful as to area tips, restaurants etc and Ocean Shores very close to great coffee shops, hikes and more. We stayed four days, loved every minute. And worth noting that in terms of price Ocean Shores the best bargain of our two weeks in Alaska. Highly recommended!"

"The owners were really friendly and helpful. - all the really good tourist info - been to Alaska before? No! Here watch this bear safety video 😁, the best restaurants etc. They even arranged a really really really good deal on a bear viewing / fishing / float plane trip for me. Breakfast was really nice, the morning chats were lovely. If all B&B's were this nice I'd never stay in a hotel again"
