A two story chalet with over 1800sq ft of living area. As you enter the house into the living room there is a hideaway bed sofa, a 60” roku t.v. and blue ray dvd player. It is an open concept to the kitchen and sitting areas with a fireplace. On the main floor there is one bedroom with a walk in closet that can also be added privacy for a crib Up the spiral stairs you will find a washer & dryer, two bedrooms with full en suite bathrooms in each. Views of Beautiful trees and mountains throughout the house. 3 decks to enjoy the outdoors of this majestic place. This is a three story place with the bottom level having a separate entrance to an owners unit who may or may not be present during your stay

Lovely place, close to everything, in a walkable neighborhood yet has forest views and feels tucked into the woods. The fireplace was cozy, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen well appointed. Although we were a group of moms on a girls’ weekend escape, we commented on how many helpful items were available if we’d been traveling with our children.

Great time overall!

Our family had a very amazing experience with this property and the owner is very welcoming. We recommend staying here even just for a night to enjoy your journey even more if looking for somewhere to stay in Girdwood!

The house was warm, inviting, and immaculate. The kitchen is spacious, allowing room for cooking and socializing. The house was very well stocked. We really did not need to bring much. Paula was very responsive. The house is situated near the Nordic spa and ski slopes in the winter. I would choose this house again!

Great chalet style hideaway

Beautiful property in a central area making it a great location to stay. Nice and spacious, the view was calming, youre in the trees so it was very picturesque with the large windows. Clean and comfy beds, good kitchen to cook in. Overall a great stay!

Lovely cabin in the woods

The home was a delightful cabin in a ski town. Easy access to the Hwy to get to/from other destinations. I recommend the Brewery with the food trucks for dinner!

Girdwood stay

Had an awesome stay at this place in Girdwood. Location was fantastic as it was an easy walk to the festival, and stores/ restaurants. Had a great walk on the north face and went dog sledding. I would recommend this place.

Beautiful Chalet!

Our family had an incredible time staying at this chalet. The bedrooms were very comfortable and each had an en-suite! We really enjoyed the living room and kitchen, especially the views and wildlife outside! Great location, easy to walk to restaurants nearby. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Great location in Gridwood

The house was awesome! Ski lodge feel, great kitchen and LOTs of space…it was a treat in the morning to watch the birds and squirrels. Beds were comfy and the decks were a great way to spend time outside! Will stay here again next time we’re in Girdwood!!

Perfect gem in the woods

Awesome experience staying here. Host communicated really well and gave some great info on the surrounding area. The house is extremely comfortable and relaxing. Make sure to make a fire in the fireplace! I highly recommend staying here.

Great Chalet in Girdwood

House was just as advertised and the perfect place to spend a night between Anchorage and Seward. We had 7 people in 2 families (kids age 3-8) and the space was large and accommodated us well. From here, did the Virgin Creek Falls hike and the Alyeska Tram which were super close.

Three couples, good friends, celebrating retirement, traveling across Alaska. This home was perfect. We each had our own bedroom with adjoining bathroom's. The view was awesome. The kitchen was accommodating. It was also close to good restaurants . Would rent again!

Beautiful and roomy mountain chalet!

This house is amazing! Comfortably fit 6 adults, gorgeous views, great location. We were there only one night after spending 5 nights in an RV in Hatcher Pass, Denali NP, and Talkeetna on our way to the Kenai Peninsula, and its luxury was so welcome! I'm sure it would be really great in the winter due its proximity to the ski resort, its epic views, and overall coziness. The summer stay price point was very reasonable.

Lots of character!

Spacious house with the most comfortable beds we had on our journey! This house has so much character built into it and the decor was woodsy and charming. My daughter especially loved the windows and the spiral staircase. Also enjoyed feeding peanuts to the stellar blues out on the patio. Close to Alyeska and restaurants in Girdwood. Definitely recommend!
