"The price and location can't be beat. It's a short drive to downtown Rockport, Camden, and there are many stores and restaurants nearby. The room is a good size, and is quite cozy, and I like that it has a microwave and mini fridge. I enjoyed my stay here, though I did have a one issue: the bathroom looks pretty clean, but the toilet smelled rather funky, which made me wonder when was the last time it was properly cleaned. It wasn't dirty though, but just smelled bad. Again, overall, it's great little place, and I may stay again the next time I'm in the area -- I just may need to also bring a bottle of poopourri spray or a tube of toilet gel."

"Jeff and Lody were absolutely awesome! Personable, accommodating, helpful, and so very hospitable and welcoming! They took a personal interest in our comfort and well-being. Their restaurant recommendations were helpful, as were their tips on getting around and seeing the sites in Maine. I don't think we could have asked for better hosts. Genuinely good people. And the apartment was just awesome. Private, clean, and well-maintained. We would definitely stay there again! If you are looking for a place to stay around the central Maine coast, I can't think of a better place-very convenient to highway 1, coastal towns, Acadia, etc. 5-stars all the way!"

"This is a nicely renovated property. It is an old house, that has all of the things that come with older homes (very few electrical outlets, uneven floors, window temperature units, etc). It does sit on a busy road, so if road noise is bothersome to you that is a consideration. Another thing to note, while this home is affiliated with the Starlight Lodge next door, they do make a distinction between levels of service between the properties. For example, everyday items like coffee, toilet paper, paper towels, etc are not replenished. Many hosts provide ample supplies of these items, but in this situation what is left in the house is what is provided."

"Great location. Very private and quiet. Loved the location. We did day trips to Acadia and Augusta. Fantastic trails everywhere. Highly recommend Rockport Lobster you can buy steamed or alive lobster. They were fantastic!"
