Stunning Ranch in the woods!

"My sister and I stayed here for a quick getaway to enjoy the nearby casinos and wineries. The location was perfect for both, and we would stay here again.The beds and furniture were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked, and there were plenty of quality towels. We also felt very safe. The property is quiet and somewhat secluded, which we enjoyed.A few areas could use attention. The outdoor spaces need some TLC to match the photos, and curtains that fully close in the kitchen, living room, dining room, and front bedroom would provide more privacy at night and help block the early morning sun. The bathrooms are dated but charming. A hair dryer was not provided, so bring your own.There was a musky smell when we arrived, which we discovered was caused by water leaking in the basement. Maintenance came out to address it promptly. The oven also needs a replacement knob. If you plan to play ping pong, you may want to bring your own paddles. The rubber is completely worn off one of the paddles provided and partially worn off the other.Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the property’s convenient location, peaceful setting, and comfortable accommodations. With a few updates and some maintenance to the outdoor areas, this could be an even better experience."

"Very nice house directly across the street from a park with brand new updated playground. Our child enjoyed getting to make new friends and play on the playground. The house is nicely equipped for a week away. We were able to easily walk to the downtown for dinner when we wanted. Unfortunately upon arrival the cleaning staff had not properly changed the beds; so I had to reduce the score due to that. Great location and pricing for a southwest Michigan week or weekend away."

"This place was very cute and very clean! My wife and I were in the area for a wedding and the venue was only 8 minutes from this location. This is a very small vrbo but had everything we needed for our stay!"

"The property was perfect for our stay. The host was able to provide a grill and answered all my questions timely. Property was centrally located to several areas we wanted to explore. We spent time at Silver Beach, Jean Klock Beach, as well as New Buffalo Beach on our way up from Ohio. There was plenty of space for our little one to play outside in the evenings and chairs provided for use. There was assigned parking for our unit and that was extremely helpful. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet place to recharge, but close enough to easily explore Benton Harbor and St. Joseph."

"We were so happy with the property, the perfect getaway with our pup. The back deck was great for an evening glass of wine and we were surprised to see two pairs of swans gliding along the lake our first night there. Our pup had fun chasing the boat waves while we relaxed on the shoreline. Close to so many great dog friendly places. We will definitely be back for a longer stay in the future!"
