"Our night at the Chateau had to be the single most memorable night of our trip. I loved it; my other half was a bit freaked by it all. The property is a long way from anywhere down a stone road. The wildlife is incredible (I’ve never heard an all-night frog chorus before and the deer roam freely through the meadows). "The B&B is 15-20 minutes by foot away from the city centre, public transport is available close by. We enjoyed the private atmosphere and the quirky/eclectic interior design, which gives the place a special atmosphere. Breakfast was great, with several (continental European / Frech) options. "A beautiful house; we stayed in rooms that were grand in scale but also cosy and welcoming. The interiors and garden are wonderfully presented. The garden is a sublime haven enclosed within the walled courtyard. Stanislas is a fabulous host and breakfast was perfect. Highly recommended."

"Comfortable bed and the kitchenette was adequate for small snacks. Close enough for the city centre. Underground carpark with about 25 spaces but costs extra. Staff friendly and helpful. Some noise from the nearby railway line but NOT so much as to disturb sleep (we had the window open as it was hot weather. No air-con but the hotel had provided a portable fan. "
