"The staff was great but this is definitely not a full service hotel...it has a ton of character as it's in an old manor house with very pretty grounds and close proximity to the water. Great breakfast and comfortable enough but it would be nice if there were a bar/restaurant in the hotel - while the closest restaurant is probably a 20 minute walk away, it's not really walkable. "Check-in was easy. Our cabin was clean and quite cozy. Everyone was friendly and the coffee cabana on the property had great coffee, options for breakfast, or an evening desert. From our porch or the hammocks we enjoyed the visits from the cats, ducks, and chickens. Thank you for a wonderfully relaxing stay."

"Just returned from 11 nights at this hotel and had an absolutely fantastic time. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The breakfast buffet is great with tons of options, our room was clean and had an amazing view. Yes there is a bit of rust here and there on the balcony but what would you expect from an ocean front hotel exposed to the elements constantly. The location is also perfect as you can easily walk to the downtown area of Angra. We would absolutely stay at this hotel again on our next trip to Terceira."
