  • In the very heart of Downtown Ann Arbor, you will be only steps away from countless conveniences, shopping, and the best dining Ann Arbor has to offer, right outside your door. Attending a University of Michigan Football game? Walk there. Going out to a nice dinner or cocktails? Walk there. Visiting a student at U of M? You guessed it... walk! All the comforts of home can be found in this first floor duplex apartment we call a Guesthouse. Full kitchen, living room, three bedrooms, and a full bathroom. Guests love the large backyard garden with BBQ grill and seating area. Park your car and stay awhile or take the Transit Bus from the airport to a couple of blocks from here. You really don't need a car as this location is in the absolute center of downtown. Walk 5 blocks in any direction and you will have covered downtown Ann Arbor.

Great VRBO. Right next to university and to downtown Ann Abror. Clean and well stocked in terms of kitchen utensils etc. Manager/owner is very responsive and helpful in the event there are any issues. Would highly recommend staying at the Garden Flat for a visit to the University of Michigan.

Great stay at a great location

Ann Harbor Guesthouse is a great place to stay! It’s so close to restaurants and campus and Ann Arbor is a fun city to be in. The host was very accommodating with our checkout which we so appreciated.

This was the perfect location for our weekend stay in Michigan. The walkability helped a lot since we didn't have a car. The parking space that is included will make it super convenient for those that do have a car. The host was very accommodating and communicative, which I really appreciated.

Great Location, Great Place to Stay!

It was our first time to Ann Arbor and we are so glad we booked our weekend here! The location is great- walking distance to great shops and restaurants! The place was clean when we arrived and the host is very communicative. Thank you for having us and we hope to be back sooner than later!

Great place in the heart of Ann Arbor

We really enjoyed our stay - the place is great, with a comfy master bed and a nice, well-stocked kitchen. There's a quaint little back yard you can hang out in and once you're out the door, you're in the heart of downtown Ann Arbor, more or less equidistant to Main Street and State Street. Would definitely stay here again!

Just right for a college visit

The house is in a great location--it's a bit funny to find the parking place, but the instructions are clear and everything was in order. It's friendly and bright and colorful, felt homey without being cluttered. Teens could get around the town independently and the proximity to campus gave us a great sense of the town. It's not fancy, but it's NICE, and lots of thought put in to the set up. It was just right for 2 moms and 2 teens on a midwest college tour!

Unbeatable location!

We had a great weekend away at this property. You truly can’t beat the location! Highly recommend for alumni coming back to visit or anyone that wants to explore Michigan’s campus and downtown Ann Arbor. Easily walkable to restaurants, coffee shops, Kerrytown, and whatever else you want to see in the downtown/campus area. The home was clean and well stocked. Host was very responsive via text message and the co-host was nice enough to help return a wallet that someone in our group had dropped outside. Thanks again!

Great location and nice outdoor sitting space

We enjoyed how close we were to restaurants and activities. Easy to run/walk to the river from the house. We especially enjoyed sitting out in the backyard to relax during the day. Beds were comfortable, and towels were plentiful, fresh, and clean. Kitchen was spacious enough to use comfortably. The only downside - which I think is just by virtue of this being a historic home - is that it was a little musty and we needed to take allergy meds! I imagine that will be the same everywhere downtown since the homes were build 120+ years ago. We were very happy with our stay!

Wonderful location!

We loved our stay! -Amazing location with many restaurants/campus nearby. -The 3-bedrooms are on the lower level of a charming home with its own kitchen/bath/off-street parking space. -If additional space is needed, know the upstairs floor/loft is also available to separately rent, with a shared porch/garden seating area. You can hear some footsteps above you though earplugs are kindly provided for you if that is a concern. -If renting in the summer, know there are two AC units, one in the queen bedroom and one in the family room that easily cooled off the other bedrooms if you keep the bedroom doors open. -Bring/Buy paper plates if you have a large group and want to avoid hand washing your dishes. -Needed Nina's help with a VRBO billing issue and she was super generous with her time and near instant communication. Will absolutely be staying here again!
