A Place in the woods........

"The listing for this cabin simply does not do it justice. We had 15 guys here for a bachelor party and the cabin was truly perfect. Commercial kitchen was great for making big meals. No shortage of things to keep us entertained with yard games, large fire pit, two living rooms with TV’s, pool table and fooseball. Tammy was a great host and provided excellent communication. I would recommend this space for a bachelor party, family reunion, fraternity retreat, etc."

"Clean and excellent property in the heart of Isle, MN. Was a last minute booking and price was fairly reasonable for the timing. Much of Mille Lacs Lake is unfortunately private so we loved the State Park being so close for access to the lake. Kids loved Larry the Bear in the front yard and we loved the fire pit in the back yard. Ample space for 5-6 people and over the hosts attention to detail and decorative choices. I grew up visiting this area quite frequently as a kid and young adult and I am glad to have been able to spend time with my family/friends reliving old memories and making some new ones here.Only a couple of notes about the property . No places to hang clothes in 1 of the 2 bedrooms and water was very heavily sulfuric, but we were appreciative of the filter at the kitchen sink for drinking. Gas Stove hood is not vented to the outside which is concerning, though not required by current MN building code, there are health concerns with burning unvented natural gas and propane in doors. House was equipped with ample CO and Smoke Detectors so we did not have any major concerns about safety and did the major our cooking on the quality gas grill provided.Host was responsive to our questions during our stay and we will most likely book this property again in the future, perhaps for a longer stay."

"This is a very clean property. Hosts are excellent communicators. The house has all provisions like towels, shampoo, body wash, etc. which is so nice. The kitchen has everything to be functional. Being able to walk to both restaurants was a definite plus! We met a lot of nice people and enjoyed relaxing on the deck! Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus! We didn't get to use the kayaks because there was a lot of algae near the shore and dock but that cannot be helped. It is just another reason for us to return!"

"Well appointed house, attentive host, and a great location with a mostly flat walk out to the lake made for an excellent stay. House is very accessible with wide doorways and no steps. Highly recommend!"

"We had our 6th annual girls weekend at this property. Just 4 moms looking for some peace, some floating on the water, and a good spot to read a book. We definitely found that! The house is beautiful, very comfortable. We loved the deck seating, great place to watch sunrise or sunset. Water was wonderful! Not weedy, and we were able walk in from the shore but Tim also let us know where we could find a dock ladder. We enjoyed the kayaks and paddle board for a little exploration of the bay. Lots of wildlife. We had a mink come visit the shore a few times, some ducks, bald eagles flying over, herons, and love the chatter from the purple martins occupying the bird house. Neighbors were delightful to chat with as well! Tim was easy to communicate with and instructions were clear. We would definitely rent again!"

"The Barn was such a great getaway for our family of 4 adults! The beds were comfortable and everything was just as we expected. Communication with our host was wonderful; beforehand and even during our stay when we had a question about the woodfire pizza oven. Speaking of which, cooking on the woodfire pizza oven was fun, unique and delicious! We really enjoyed the open kitchen/comfy living room where we were able to all be together to cook, relax, play games & watch movies. The hot tub was also great and was always ready to enjoy - no need to figure it out, it was just ready to hop into! The pontoon rental contact our hosts had established was also appreciated. Receiving the pontoon right off of the dock was smooth and easy, making getting onto the water a wonderful and delightful experience! We would definitely return and recommend for a great getaway!"
