Unique French Renaissance Experience

This is an extremely unique property, lovingly decorated in a French Renaissance theme by the owner, Stephanie. Stephanie made us feel exceptionally welcome, sending us detailed instructions about the property and how to find our way there. She also provided lots of little extras like delicious iced tea and local jams. The property is ideally located, within walking distance of the bus and train stations and all local attractions. However, it is far enough away from the swarming summer crowds to feel more relaxed. We loved our time in Annecy and thank Stephanie for her care and passion.

Really easy check in. Location is in the center of Annecy and near to all the downtown attractions and restaurants. The apt has a great vibe and atmosphere and has all the tools you need to cook. Bed is comfortable. Nice balcony at the back. The best thing is the location!

Great location near the station.

The apartment was designed with flair, and was exactly as pictured. All accessories complimented the boho theme. It was a great two days. There were stairs to negotiate, but I managed.

Great location and communication from the host was excellent. The owner has put A lot of work into presentation & trying to create a particular ambience. However, the apartment is bizarre in its furnishings with black carpet & mirrored ceilings with plastic flowers. After enter through steel gates, people were smoking on the entry stair well which was more like a factory entrance than an entry to an apartment. Some people may appreciate the quirky erotic baroque ambience trying to be created, but this was not for me & my wife. There was clutter everywhere around the apartment. We tried to book elsewhere & forgo our payment, however there was nowhere else available in town.

Yikes, not for us

This property is immaculately decorated in a style not fit for us. Dark hallway and door entry, black walls, mirrors on the ceiling in the bedroom and bathroom, masquerade masks everywhere, implied love/sex atmosphere, flickering lights, “LOVE” spelled with fake rose pedals on the bed. It is a cross between phantom of the opera, hotel California, cheesy horror flick, and a bordello. Not for my wife and I, but maybe for others to enjoy. We could not stay there and lost our rent. The pictures on the website are fairly accurate, but it does not transfer to the creepy feeling we got when entering. As mentioned, interesting in many ways, just not for us.

Un vrai petit paradis

Étant fan de châteaux, je suis toujours à la recherche d’appartements avec une décoration particulière. Et j’ai trouvé la perle rare ! Toute la décoration est soigneusement pensée, chaque détail parfaitement à sa place, un vrai saut dans le temps. L’appartement est très propre et super bien situé, nous avons pu nous balader dans cette magnifique ville. Cet appartement a un vrai charme et est hyper romantique, l’hôte est restée à notre disposition et est vraiment adorable. J’ai vraiment adoré mon séjour ici

Einzigartig, gemütlich

Eine wunderschöne Reise in die Belle Epoche mit venezianischem Flair. Appartement sehr sauber, einladend, viele Informationen, zauberhaft eingerichtet. Tolle Gastgeberin, schnelle und außerordentlich herzliche Kommunikation. Zur Altstadt wenige Gehminuten, Parkhäuser und Bahnhof in wenigen Minuten fussläufig erreichbar. Nur zu empfehlen! Ein außergewöhnliches Erlebnis ! Wir kommen gerne wieder. Ganz herzlichen Dank an unsere Gastgeberin!

Charmant appartement d'époque romantique et accueillant. Situé près de la gare et du vieil Annecy, toutes les attractions sont a distance de marche. La propriétaire est a l'écoute et disponible. Seul inconvénient:un peu bruyant pour dormir la fenêtre ouverte par temps chaud.

Notre hôte, Stéphanie, a été très accueillante à notre arrivée. Elle nous a invité à découvrir l'appartement, juste tous les deux, et là...on est scotchés quand on franchie la porte..l'ambiance...je ne vous en dis pas plus. L'appartement que du bonheur, décoré avec goût, romantique à souhait.. la chambre, surtout, très glamour.. on a adoré...il y a juste a se laisser porter. Idéal pour un séjour en amoureux aux coeur de la vieille ville. Un petit air de Venise...

Une expérience esthétique

L'Appartement est décoré avec un sens du détail qui fait mouche, de doux arômes imprègnent les lieux et nous le ramène en mémoire. La moquette épaisse de la chambre, le divan moelleux, les loups de carnaval, les miroirs et les mécanismes d'horlogerie, tout concourt à faire de ces quelques jours un petit cocon de souvenirs. Même les difficultés pour ouvrir la boîte à clé ( comme pour dire tout se mérite) semblent faire partie de l'expérience. L'appartement s'accorde très bien avec la Venise des Alpes et il est parfaitement situé, à coté de la gare et tout près des canaux et ruelles du Vieil Annecy.
