"The house was nice and private and not too far from Mammoth Cave. We enjoyed the large porch. The listing advertised WiFi, however, we were without WiFi for the entire duration of our stay. The owner was responsive, but failed to resolve the issue and provided solutions that did not work nor were feasible with us being at the park the whole day. Note that there is little to no reception, so having no WiFi and no reception made it impossible to put in directions or make calls. I’ve managed vacation rentals myself, and most places these days have a router connected to a mobile device where the owner can resolve the issue. We would have appreciated someone stopping by as well to try and troubleshoot. There was also an exterior camera that was constantly recording which made us feel that there was limited privacy and could have been turned off after we arrived. The overall rating reflects the above comments…"

"Wonderful house. Well suited for dogs and young children. The house has everything you can think of and more especially in the kitchen. We also very much enjoyed chatting with the owners who happen to live next door. Very homey, we will be visiting again for sure!"

"Bed was comfortable, cabin had everything we needed. Yard is great if bringing a dog. We even had a friendly orange and white cat that hung out on the porch while we stayed!"

"I didn't like the bed because you could not sleep 2 people up there. The parking sucked has to carry everything up the hill and the wrap around porch should have a roof so when it rains you can still enjoy sitting outside and in the hot tub and the cleaner was really rude we did not know it was central time when we showed up so we were on time on our time it was our anniversary and could not even contact the host if we needed roo"

"We had a wonderful Mothers Day weekend! Our host was very gracious and welcoming, and the property was lovely. We had a little trouble getting in, and she immediately called to make sure we could get settled quickly, which was truly appreciated with a tired toddler in tow haha. The deck overlooking the lake is very cool! We were able to have Wendy’s delivered in the morning, but mostly plan to drive for food, as it’s somewhat remote. The kitchen in the house is very nice and equipped for cooking for the family, and there is a grill on the deck too. Hope to stay here again one day!"

"Lovely cottage! We made a pit stop on our way home from traveling to see Mammoth Cave National Park. Everything was super clean and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the spa like experience in the bathroom. The lighting throughout has so much character. This place is well loved and it shows! Just minutes from the park. Host provided very clear information regarding booking and everything in the place (light switches, door locks, etc..) is marked clearly to avoid any confusion. We brought our dogs too. :). Highly recommend!"
