"We received an extremely warm welcome from Jean-Louis and Nicole to begin a memorable week in the foothills of the Alps. The studio is a 5 minute walk to Saint Vallier where there are bars, restaurants and a weekly market. It is also within walking distance of an Intermarché (with a petrol station) which we found very convenient. The studio itself seems bigger on the inside than outside as the space has been used intelligently. It is clean, well-equipped has a comfortable bed and...

"Thanks to the team at White Rock, lovely campsite close to the rafting company's, short walk to Castellane. beautiful surroundings. We will definitely stay again when in the area."

"We have a heat wave here , someone hid the remote control for the AC so we spent the night sweating and the pillows are terrible ..We came back late at night so no more staff was impossible to ask where was the remote control for the AC ( was under a blanket in the closet) when i told that to the staff in the morning the answer was " Ah bon " horrific night .."

"Really enjoyed our stay - the pod was excellent (air con very welcome) the staff on site were very helpful and the location was great Touet is lovely - the river beautiful (but very strong current) close to train for trips to Entrevaux (a must see) local bars etc walkable Food at the campsite was very good and great value "

"Best location, minutes from Castellane town center by foot. Accommodations are good but not a very private camping. All lots are corded side by side with minimal space but considering the proximity to activities no need to spend anytime at campsite other then sleep. Everything was functional and clean with mobile home."

"This auberge is situated in the centre of Castellane, with a river at the rear that you can swim in. The breakfast was varied and there was plenty of it, lovely staff who were very friendly and helpful. There is a large rear shaded terrace which was quiet snd you could relax have a drink. Castellane has a friendly, busy but relaxed vibe, plenty to see and do. I would definitely stay again. Ask for a room on the rear so that it is hidden from the buzz of the square. "
