"Rooms are large, well furnished and very clean. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful, although I think might not have english speaking staff member that you might find in a large chain hotel. Food is all made by the onsite chef, and while a bit limited in choice, is very tasty and not too expensive. The only potential downside is that as a retreat type property, it isn't located in the nearby city. If you drove in your own car or rented car, then no issue. But the only easily walkable local attraction is the adjacent Giant Panda preserve, which was very nice, if not nearly as massive as the main panda attraction in Chengdu. If you do not have your own transport, you would need to use ride hailing, which works well enough, however note that unlike in the cities, if you want to hail one of the big 6 passenger vans, it might be difficult. But hailing regular sedan type Didi cars is easy enough to get you into town for any site-seeing (such as the nearby Dujiangyan or Mt. Qingchen) or dining needs."

"Stay was generally good except for a couple of service related incidents eg i asked front desk to make a reservation for us one evening and the person asked me to book myself. When i showed the restaurant name on my mobile app, the person tried to call the restaurant directly on my mobile without asking me. "

"Hotel is a bit far from the Metro station. However it is pretty easy and cheap to get a private driver via Didi and Baidu App. Room is very huge and offer all amenities except hand soap. All the staffs are very helpful and go all out to help the hotel guest. Thumb up for the counter staffs in the hotel. "

"great place to stay if you are visiting Chengdu! the hotel is located very close to a metro station (maybe a 5 min walk). the room we booked was a great deal, it had 2 bedrooms, a living room, and a kitchen. very roomy and comfortable! the room itself was also clean, the beds were comfortable, and in very good condition (not sure when the hotel was last remodeled, but it felt quite new). I also want to give a special shoutout to Miki. you can visit her at the station by the front desk and she can give you lots of useful travel advice. she was extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. it was only thanks to her that we were able to get our WeChat set up properly and have a smooth, enjoyable trip. thank you so much Miki! we would HIGHLY recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Chengdu. "
