"The views from samfi gardens are stunning. It was close to the best natural attractions on the island. The staff was very nice and helpful. It was nice to have a breakfast option either delivered to your room or out on the communal eating area."

"We had an amazing experience at Green Fig! Tucked away in the cliffside, this cozy resort overlooks the beautiful town of Soufriere and Petit Piton, providing stunning views from anywhere on the property. We enjoyed the romance room, the beautiful main pool, open air restaurant, and tons of spots to sit and enjoy the present moment. The resort was incredibly accommodating with arranging spa treatments, massages, excursions, transportation and anything else we needed in a timely manner. All of the staff were very kind and helpful. The beach and town is about a 5 minute walk and are fun to check out! We absolutely loved our stay here and plan to come back in the future. FYI, you will need to climb stairs and you can hear sounds from the town, but we didn't mind at all. For us, it added to the charm and overall experience. "

"While hard to believe, the villa is even more beautiful in person. The breathtaking views never got old. I had concerns about the open air (no AC) concept going into our trip. I worried specifically about heat and bugs, but neither of these were an issue. While fully open air, the villa is also screened and very effective at keeping bugs out. And we never missed AC once; the constant breeze passing through the villa kept us comfortable at night. As many reviews have mentioned, the drive up to and down from the villa was an adventure, but my husband rather enjoyed it. We rented a 4x4 Jimny and were met by our fantastic host, Jonathan, for our maiden drive up the mountain. After learning the ropes from him, we had no trouble making the drive each day. Jonathan was a truly fabulous host - checking in on us regularly, making reservations for us, and answering general questions. Before leaving on our trip, communication through the VRBO platform with the villa owners was a bit tricky and we initially had trouble getting a response, but once we were provided contact phone numbers, communication via WhatsApp was quick and easy. Rosula, the sweet woman who came to tidy up every other day, was so kind and friendly, and the nightly security team was comforting to have on site as well. The villa is perfectly situated for exploring the Soufriere area, and we loved the access to the resort that was included. Don't hesitate to book - we've already done so for next year!"
