"The room was super duper clean. And it was nice to leave for dinner and come back to your bed turned down. Staff was great. Just had a bit of a tiff with our butler day one. I thought the breakfast was splendid. I loved that they had a ‘shot’ of the day of potent and healthy juices! Loved loved that. The omelette station was our favorite and if you are a coffee lover their cappuccino was delicious. And I’m a very particular coffee drinker. Breakfast was our favorite meal. The exercise space was also great. As I exercised there practically every day before getting my spot in the beach,"

"Our recent stay at The Green Fig Resort was excellent. The staff was incredible - friendly, efficient, responsive and helpful. Although other large resorts are available at St. Lucia, the small size of The Green Fig Resort made us feel appreciated and welcomed. We met other couples while staying there and enjoyed their company as well. With only 30 rooms, it felt intimate and cozy. The owners were on site during our stay and they were friendly and welcoming as well. We were not prepared for all of the nice amenities at The Green Fig. First of all, the food is delicious. We're pretty particular about quality and taste - it met and exceeded our standards. We ended up eating dinner there 3 of our 5 night stay because it was so good. Breakfast is excellent - service is excellent. Also, I had the privledge of having a Coffee Scrub in the spa and it was a superior treatment (and I've been to many spas around the world). I would highly recommend a spa treatment there. Also, since The Green Fig is located high on a hillside, I was concerned about transportation to activities and dining. The staff is efficient about booking drivers for transportation - we relied on them for all of it - including airport transfers. You can also book your activities directly with them when you arrive. We loved the Tet Paul Hike, Volcano - Mud Bath - Botanical Garden-Waterfall tour. This is not a fancy resort, but truly provides a unique St. Lucia experience!"

"If you are looking for a plush resort this is not the place. If you are looking for a place to experience the real Soufriere with friendly staff and owners that make you feel at home this is the place. It is within walking distance of town and many local restaurants. They can get Paw paw to pick you up and he can advise you on good tours and take you around at a reasonable price and not get seasick driving around the curves. Take a tour of the families estate if they offer. It is very interesting. I snorkeled right off the beach there and saw many different fish."

"Le Gallerie was a truly phenomenal experience. We stayed for a week with our closest friends and actually hosted our wedding on the property. It couldn't have been more perfect. The view is stunning! Almost the entire house has an outdoor vibe which was perfect for the location and made it really fun. But the staff take it the step further to deliver the level of luxury you would expect from a villa of this scale. From always making sure that our rooms were fresh and clean, to providing the most magnificant meals on the property...and then there is Bernard, the house manager who is truly amazing and made sure that our every need was taken care of! We really couldn't have asked for more. We saw a decent amount of the island during our week, so I can pretty comfortable say Le Gallerie has one of the best views on the entire island! Seriously this can not be over stated! It was a magical week and I want to give the biggest thanks to the Owners as well as the house staff for helping make sure our wedding went so perfectly! We are already talking about our next trip and couldn't imagine staying anywhere else!"

"Similar to other reviews- we had a wonderful stay. You want to be outside all the time as the view never ceases to amaze. We are a family of four with 2 teens who swam in the pool nonstop. At night we enjoyed watching movies on the smart TV. The road is intimidating especially if you are not used to having to use 4WD. Get a 4WD vehicle. At times it is very steep and narrow. It definitely made it a less likely that we would want to spontaneously go to town for a quick grocery run so plan ahead. That being said- the Villa is the end of the road so the house is extremely private. The house is extremely well stocked. There is complimentary bug spray, sunscreen, after-sun gel, razors, mosquito repellent coils, etc. in case you forget or don’t have some of those items. Even a little “library” with plenty of books to read during your stay. Kitchen also very well-stocked with basic spices, vegetable oil, and every small appliance you can think of. We slept great and the house cooled down nicely at night for sleeping. It was very nice to have the amenities of the resort, Anse Chastanet, available for our use. We ate at the restaurant several times, hung out at the beach and snorkeled. They have many activities available. The staff and our contact, Jonathan, were stellar. Overall our stay was great in every way. I recommend this Villa to anyone who wants to relax and enjoy that view with secluded privacy."
