Location, amenities and restaurant made for a comfortable stay at El Carmen. The staff was very helpful letting us leave our luggage before we checked in as well as setting up a shuttle to the Guatemala City airport.

Great area, few blocks from everything. I had breakfast included, which was really good and worth it. Breakfast was on the roof top, had views of the volcano. The hotel was able to help book a transportation from El Carmen to Lake Atitlan.

The place was really nice, very clean, and everything was amazing! The only issue I had was in the morning, when I kept hearing loud noises from above, almost like someone was walking around. It was a little loud and woke me up, but other than that, everything was great. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this place!
