Evelyn was great at reception. She guided me throughout Antigua and arranged a great driver to Atitlan. The ladies make beautiful breakfasts. The room was beautiful and clean. The know me as Vivien there! Thank you all!

I am surprise how did property gets high ratings.The owner seems to not care for guests and instead manages this place poorly. All staff members seemed to be worried and concerned about losing their job and provide the minimum amenities to guest. We checked in at 3pm and spent few hours in the room trying to rest fron our trip. However, the drapes have no blackout and the doors were poory frabicated locally allowing all sound to travel inside the room. Good luck trying to rest or to sleep after 6am. We went out for dinner and when we got back all lights were off in a ridiculous effort to save energy, creating a hazard for guest. I understand climate change and trying to conserve energy, but this is ridiculous. The worst was yet to happen. A guest had a giant dog - regardless that NO PETS ARE ALLOWED is stated on Expedia. My wife is allergic to dogs and got extremely sick. When i contact the owner, she refuse to provide a refund and i had ro contact Expedia to cancel my second night. PLEASE NOTE THAT I PAID $150 A NIGHT FOR WHAT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SUITE. Please do yourself a favor and stay away from this property.

We are very sorry you had a bad experience at the hotel, but let me clarify some of the things you stated before: - The suite is at the back of the house so no sound from the street can travel there just the sound of the fountain outside of your room. - We do have good doors and black oit curtains that are block 95% of all light coming inside of the room - The other guests that where staying at the hotel came to visit family and the grandpa lives in Antigua. He came to the hotel to visit them and had a dog, the dog stayed sited in an open space for a few hours and never entered your room. We are a pet friendly hotel and most of our guests are as well but very sorry that the allergies where so bad for your wife - When you called to cancel the next night a staff member of the hotel immediately talked to you and gave you the money back without making a complaint or not wanting to do it she even went to bank to take out cash because thats what you wanted. - The same staff member when she was about to leave the hotel asked you of you wanted her to turn of the lights for you so you could sleep better and you told her to do it so we are very sorry that you felt that the hotel was very dark but we where only trying to follow what you supposedly wanted Our staff is amazing and we work really good as a team not with fear about anything.

exceptional stay
This place is so amazing! The customer service was exceptional! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Antigua. The space is central to all touristy sites but on a quiet and serene block.

Amazing property located strategically near all the nice corners of the city. The room was excellent for a couple, romantic ambiance with a view to a yard with a fountain.

Best place to stay in Antigua
Really great experience, I will go back without any hesitation. The owner is very friendly and listening. The hotel is gorgeous, the roof terrasse with jacuzzi a must with a great view on the roofs of Antigua. The suit (6 nights spend in Mar 2018) very comfortable. Location is very downtown. Full recommandation of this hotel.

Everything you need AND close!
Hotel is freshly renovated, safe and comfortable. Staff is bilingual. The hot tub on the roof is very nice and the breakfast is great. Rooms are very nice and hotel is conveniently located. Hidden gem!

Beautiful hotel in Antigua
We stayed there for two nights in the king suite. The hotel is quaint with only four rooms. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was included and was excellent. The rooftop terrace afforded amazing views of the mountains and volcano. The staff were friendly and attentive. We had a great stay and would definately return.

Great small hotel
We had one night to spend in Antigua. Hotel is small but very nice. Good location to walk around the city. Room was very comfortable with good beds and bathroom. Staff was extremely friendly. Had a nice balcony to have drinks and eat breakfast. Good wifi and free breakfast..

Quaint boutique hotel near all sites
The minute we stepped into this unique 4 guest room hotel, we knew we made the right choice. The staff was warm and accommodating. Our room was clean and well appointed with a beautiful fountain and fire element right outside our door. Breakfast was served anywhere you liked, including the rooftop with views of the city and nearby volcanoes. We felt like we were guests at a small estate. This was a real find.

Wonderful!
We absolutely loved staying at Serendipity! We booked with little information but the price and location were right for us. We were beyond pleased with our experience there. The small hotel was lovely with beautiful accents throughout. The open common spaces and the rooftop terrace with the hot tub were a wonderful escape from the city. Plus the staff was amazing! Lina, the manager, was always available and helpful but not intrusive. Plus she speaks at least three languages including English. Finally, the other staff were kind and welcoming and provided an enjoyable and luxurious experience while we stayed. Hope to return soon!

If you are into small, quaint, personal touch hotels, then this 4 room cherry will delight you. Everything is tasteful, everything works, it's impeccably clean. The staff is charming and helpful. If you behaved, you get a hug when leaving.

Friendly staff and beautiful hotel
This boutique hotel only has 4 rooms, so the staff at the hotel really get to know you and they are super friendly. The hotel itself is gorgeous and has an amazing rooftop with views of Antigua's surrounding volcanoes.

Elegant, tranquil jewel of a hotel
We loved our stay at this new, elegantly appointed, private boutique hotel. A quiet and tranquil oasis with wonderful amenities and excellent service from the helpful and dedicated staff. The larger suite at the back is especially private.

Excellent quiet place with a charming decoration
The place is beautiful. Fantastic to hang out in with lots of different places to sit down and enjoy life and the beautiful surroundings. The roof terrace for breakfast is gorgeous, as well as the spa on the rooftop. Beautiful views and am excellent energy!!
