The hotel was conveniently located near restaurants, convenience store and main road. The staff was very helpful. They helped us in arranging a day tour taxi. They also recommended us to take a bus to the airport as a cheaper option.

This is your typical APA experience, although the room was bigger than the ones in the APA hotels in Tokyo. The room was clean, comfortable, and had all the expected amenities. The location was right in the middle of downtown, where you have the main street full of shops. It's also minutes away from Aspam. The Aomori train station is walkable as well. Theres also a bus stop nearby where the airport bus stops. A Lawson convince store is found across the street.

A little bit far comparing with other hotels, but still reasonable for walking. And quite at night. Close to the sea and main street so you will not feel inconvenience. But it is a old hotel and all facilities are old as well, clean but don't expect too much.

Outdated and still smells like cigarettes. Carpet and drapes probably haven't been cleaned in a while because the smoke smell is still present. Small elevator. The staff were nice and breakfast was good but I don't think it was worth the price I paid.

The location is an 8-10 mins walk from Aomori station so you don’t need to take the bus. The bus route from the station can be very confusing so walking is better. From the hotel, it’s about 10-15 mins walk to the other tourist areas. The breakfast buffet had local items but they were only written in Japanese so I couldn’t read what they were. I only had rice, miso based soup and natto which are the only ones I know besides bread. I wish there was egg at least. The staff were very nice even with their limited English. The room itself feels smaller than usual. The bathroom tub is so narrow that the shower kept splashing over the curtains so the floor got wet. Also, the building is old and it has a bit of an odour from the carpet maybe? The elevator smells of cigarette which had been stuck there for years.

Facilities were good although I was irritated by hotel rules drummed in through TV and multiple leaflets. I didn’t have a yataka first night and no belt when I did get one. Minor irritations. Air conditioning could have been a major gripe as is controlled centrally and was set to heat. This was advised on TV screen. Had the window not been openable to control temperature I would have been displeased.
