"We had an absolutely brilliant few days in the new bothy. We stayed here a few years ago in a motorhome in a gorgeous location and returned to stay in the Loch Fyne bothy which is brand new in 2025.
All facilities are included right down to a bottle opener. The bothy was spotless and the view is to die for, easy access to a Track for walking the dog or walking distance to the Creagan inn for food and drink."

"A brief but very pleasant stay with our family at the Onich. We stayed in a little standalone corrage next to the hotel and it was very comfortable. The only downside was that the only bathroom was upstairs via the bedroom and the property was facing a main road so we had to be very cautious leaving it with our children. The staff were wonderful; very warm and friendly and the food was excellent. "
"Rooms or shall I say, apartment, was lovely and plenty of space.
However, when we went to go to bed and pulled the sheet back on our bed, there were hairs everywhere. So we we had to go down the hill to reception to collect all new bedding, lug it back up the hill and remake our bed.
Wouldn’t have been a big issue but we never got an apology over the 4 days we were there.
When we checked out we mentioned it again and was told it had been reported to the area manager. Who and where they were we had no idea. Thought this was quite poor given that we were staying so many nights.
These are lovely rooms with great views across the loch and right in town so close to all the amenities. They just need to maybe up the staff levels as only ever seem to be one member of staff about, which is why we had to collect our own sheets. I am not faulting the lady we chatted to on reception, just that there should be at least 2 of them so one can attend to guests issues etc.
If it hadn’t have been for this it would have been a perfect stay."
"Lovely hotel in a good location. Staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were comfortable with great views of the loch. Food in the restaurant was excellent, would recommend!"
"The water in the shower was tepid at best. Apparently they had the boilers replaced recently, they told us, but the shower was poor.
Kettle had a massive dent in it. The replaced kettle only worked when placed on the electricity supply at just the right angle.
All the furniture in the room was cheap and tacky faux oak laminate where the oak was peeling off.
An electricity cable was taped to the walls up the stairs.
Basically you have to wonder why they bother to keep the hotel going. It’s in need of huge refurbishment and gives off the opinion of why are they continuing to bother offering accommodation. Very surprised it’s on the Hotels.com listing of venues to sleep. If I was Hotels.com I’d remove it as it damages their reputation. "
"From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcome and comfortable. Evening dinner was delicious. We both slept very well and enjoyed a big hearty breakfast."
