Absolutely Fabulous!
1. First things first, Teresa and Jule’s home was immaculate. Loved all of the art and the loft for the kids. Our daughter lived on the bean bag. 2. The home is so close to the beach you can hear and smell it. It’s amazing place to walk the dogs early in the morning. The kids loved it and we spent a lot of time just beachcombing and taking in the scenery. 3. The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. We met some truly wonderful people. Aptos is also set easy to navigate and you can get everything you need. Santa Cruz is just a short ride away! 4. Teresa and Jules are warm and welcoming. We had no issues getting in touch with them and they truly take pride in this home. The only thing to keep in mind is home entrance is on the second floor. We loved staying here and will be back!! Thank you Teresa and Jules for a wonderful get away!

Perfect!
Once I found this place, I immediately booked it for me and my two granddaughters for their spring break. It was exactly what we were looking for and was so pleased it matched the description perfectly. Walking distance to the beach was close enough for the 4 year old. Two restaurants also within walking distance and a small market! The home was beautifully decorated, had enough games and toys to keep everyone busy. The loft area will win over kids of all ages. Would definitely book again!

The property was cute and well appointed. We had a couple of small issues and the owner responded quickly and was very accommodating with making the issues right. Great little place to stay!

Well located and exceedingly clean
Walkable to beach and restaurants. Very very clean. Comfortable bed and environment. It’s upstairs so you will need to be able to walk stairs.

Just as described… and just what we needed!!
The prop gave immediate beach cottage vibes especially after walking through the door! The deco was spot on and the amenities were great!! Definitely a place to return to when back in Aptos!!

We were very happy with our stay. This places is perfect if you have young children. Short walk to the beach, the house is well stocked with everything you would need. I will rent this place again.

Great Location!
I loved Teresa & Jules place, it is darling! They have beach chairs and towels, even a telescope on the upstairs loft. Awesome location, 2 minute walk to Pixies Deli and Rio beach. Near all the other beaches as well. Very clean. Loved it - will be back.

Great beach visit!
This is a great little apartment! It was just right for 2 adults, 2 kids, and a dog. The unit was clean and an easy walk to the beach. Communication with Teresa was easy. We would be happy to stay there again.

We stayed for 3 nights. The location was terrific. Just minutes from the beach. The house was clean. The bedding was great, especially the pillows! The bathroom was awesome. We fell in love with the dual recliners...Would definitely recommend this place. Owners were very quick on cmmunication. We'd love to return.

Beautiful beach get away
We stayed at the property for two nights and three days and it was lovely. Great location, very clean and Jules and Teresa were very attentive. We had a couple of small issues and they helped us out immediately. The place was very well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. Teresa and Jules we awesome hosts!

Awesome Place
Can’t say enough about this place. It was amazing. The kitchen is fully stocked and the loft was a really fun place for the kiddos. Located in the heart of a beautifully landscaped are right next to the beach. Couldn’t ask for more.

Sweet spot
There were three of us plus one pup in this sweet apt so close to the beach. Very comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and appreciated the coffee shops and restaurants nearby. Easy check in and out. Highly recommend.

Christmas made special!
I needed a larger space to celebrate Christmas with my adult daughters and their partners. The space worked out nicely. The kitchen had the necessary accouterments to pull it all together. Location was perfect for an afternoon walk to the beach. Both fireplaces kept us warm and added a special ambiance. I had one challenging moment getting the TV to function, I reached out to Jules and Teresa. The issue was resolved promptly via quick response. Thank you!

The location was great with a short walk to the beach. The apartment was on the small side. The living space was nice with 2 reclining chairs right in front of the TV. The kitchen was well stocked with pot and pans, plates, glasses etc. It is also stocked with Peet’s coffee which is our favorite. Only thing missing was a dishwasher. The bedroom was small, but the bed was comfortable with top notch linens and pillows. We brought our dogs with us and they settled in quite well. Just be aware that there is no yard access if you choose to bring your dogs. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

Great Spot on a Great Beach
The Aptos townhouse is a great spot for two adults and perhaps one little kid or a couple little kids. Our 6'2" son had a little trouble with the loft, the bed was a bit short and the ceiling a bit low. The linens and towels were top notch. The pillows were abundant which has not been our experience with other rentals on VRBO There are a lot of Pros with the location, amenities and the ease of getting in and out. We were a little surprised that the kitchen did not have a dishwasher as in the description claimed to have "everything" you needed in the kitchen. There really is not a place to eat as a family, but the tv trays were a great addition and it was fun watching a movie while we ate take out. We really enjoyed the restaurants in the area, Perry's Deli and Venus Distillery. All in all it was a nice get away.

We loved staying at this beach bungalow two blocks from the ocean. We could hear the ocean from here! The dogs immediately felt at home and we had everything we needed for our stay. I highly recommend this place. Great hosts too!

Location is perfect if you want easy beach access. House is small, but the space is used very well. It worked well for two adults and two small kids. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes, cookware, coffee, tea. It would have been even better if there were a dishwasher.

We had a great experience— the rental has a great location, amenities and details were accurately described, and communication with our hosts was easy. It was our first time renting a shared property (ie host has a residence on-site), and we were a little nervous as bona-fide introverts— but we didn’t need to be, the setup feels neighborly, private, and respectful. The kitchen was one of the most thought-out kitchens we’ve ever experienced, it’s small but has everything. There were also lots of thoughtful details for families traveling with children (toys, beach gear, etc.). We would emphasize that the stairs up to the unit are a full floor; the stairs would be a no for those with mobility concerns and anyone with very heavy luggage. That said, the view once you’re up the stairs is worth it. Also, the hosts were fabulous.

We would stay here again. Short 2 block walk to the beach. Corner store and excellent sandwich shop one block away. The apartment is on the second floor with 17 steps. The apartment is very comfortable and has a nice kitchen with everything you may need. We use the outside BBQ grill for hot dogs. Our dogs loved it. Highly recommend this rental. The hosts were spot on and quickly responded to our questions.

This is a wonderful apartment. The owners have been very thoughtful providing everything one needs. The kitchen is well designed and has a full size range. The bedroom was comfy with plenty of cross breeze via a sliding door and side window. Bathroom is roomy with all new vanity and double sinks! Living area bosts well designed space. 2 recliners a sofa and charming electric fireplace. There is a loft which we didn’t use but welcomes a third adult or child. The best part is the creative display of art and whimsical artifacts. Neighborhood quiet and literally 5 minutes walk to rio Del mar beach!! We will return!

Quaint one bedroom with a loft
The unit was perfect for 2 adults and 1 child. The unit felt like a converted 2nd floor bedroom/bathroom were added to an above garage apartment with a loft. The loft was was great for a child. The kitchen was well stocked with supplies, with the bathroom and kitchen being newly remodeled. The location was a short easy walk to the beach. The downstairs of the house was occupied, and the accompanying noises filtered into the rental; nothing intrusive but definitely a constant reminder that someone was living downstairs. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.

This property is a lovely place to relax and enjoy the beach. We had two extra people for 2 nights and there was plenty of room and for our dog too. We truly enjoyed ourselves. And Jules and Teresa are easy to contact if anything comes up. Everything is there that you need for cooking to boogie boarding! We would love to come back!

I absolutely loved staying here! I had a weekend to myself so spent the time at the beach or cozying up in bed. The owners were reachable through the app but also gave me my privacy. It was a wonderful weekend and looking forward to returning.
