"There was a mixup with the room we had booked, so were given another room which was just as nice, room 5. It was adjacent to the breakfast room however, so if you like to sleep in, maybe not the room for you. The room was beautifully decorated, clean, large and very comfortable. Very private until the breakfast time happens at 8 am. Breakfast was delicious. The only complaint was the hot water shower pressure was pretty weak. We brought that to the attention of the owner and she said they would address the problem. The property is beautiful and close to town. I would recommend staying there to anyone. "

"A warm welcome from Luc & Hilda, we were given a large, nicely decorated modern room with very comfy bed and the shower room & toilet were to the same high standard. Very nice breakfast served by Luc and his friendly team, it was autumn when we visited so it can be cool at night in South Africa, the bed’s electric blankets made them warm and cosy, the open log fire in the breakfast room was very nice in the morning and the log burner in the lounge was equally as inviting in the evening. We felt totally safe staying at Ballinderry Guest House, in the town of Robertson and this region of SA generally. We would highly recommend people come and stay."

Large attractive gardens, nice touches like the extra padded seats for our outside seats and fresh fruit from the farm at breakfast. The owner was very helpful with ideas for local visits and was very warm and welcoming. Thank you. "
