The highlight of any visit to the Pyrenees

Bruno and Chantal were consummate hosts. I loved my room with its view of the garden, a decor accented with vintage radios and alarm clocks, a spacious modern bathroom and adjacent WC. A practical command of French is helpful, as the coversations surrounding breakfast, cocktail ( choice of aperitif, beer and wine) and dinner (not included, but highly recommended as Chantal is an excellent cook. Be sure to request some of her Basque specialties. Everything is homemade. Bruno and Chantal are pleasantly outgoing, full of humorous anecdotes and helpful advice regarding the many nearby scenic and historic places woth a visit.
