The pool was slightly smaller than expected but was great for the children to play about it and for adults to cool off and swim a few strokes. No Taverna in the village, but a good choice in Margarites 10K away - also plenty of ceramic shops and workshops in this town to buy gifts etc. The Museum and acheological dig at Eleftherna should be open soon and is a good place for walks etc. Beaches are acessible by car - about 45...

"An extremely beautiful hotel, built of stone, in the Greek style. Resting here, it is as if you fall into an interesting story. All the staff, especially Helen and Yanis, are very friendly. "We had a wonderful time staying at the Villa Poseidon, fabulous villa, wonderful location, fantastic views and great communication with Nikos when we had a couple of issues. The pool area was great and cleaned daily, clean linen and towels were available on demand. Plakias village was an about a 5 minute drive and had everything you need with lots of tavernas to try and supermarkets, bakeries and meat market to stock up your supplies. All in all a super place to holiday"

"First off the staff is absolutely wonderful!! The view is AMAZING! The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Beds are comfy, the fridge has ample space for leftovers and lots of drinks and even enough room in the freezer for a bag of ice! They are pet friendly which is a huge plus for me because I’m traveling with a 7 month old puppy. I would highly recommend staying here!!"

"This place is a hidden gem. Tucked away in the hillside far away from the hustle of a town however close enough to go to the beaches and local tavernas. They staff are excellent always welcoming, the rooms were clean and we booked a suite with a private pool this was amazing. We loved the privacy and the fantastic view over the hills. I would definitely recommend this place and hope to come back again."

Perhaps the biggest highlight was the staff, they were lovely and super helpful any time we needed anything. It would have been nice to be able to try the yoghurt, but sadly this made it impossible for us."
