"Nestled into the nature preserve. We were there at the start of the offseason. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The room was clean and the view was epic. The pool area and restaurant were amazing. We plan on coming back someday to Costa Rica and if on the Pacific side we will spend more days here. Can’t recommend this place enough."

"Neat spot in the jungle, although it was different than expected based on the VRBO listing.We did see some great thunder/lightening storms, my kiddo was able to pick wild bananas and see neat wildlife and we appreciated having the pool and outdoor seating area.Travels should be aware that the VRBO listing states 15 min walk to beach/national park and 3 min drive to beach. The house is East of highway in the mountains (not near beach/contrary to VRBO map, which shows it near La Cucinga)AC in two bedrooms ineffective. Windows cannot be closed (which is good for natural air flow, but not good for AC). One of the rooms has a mobile unit without external venting, rendering it useless. When we arrived, there were no extra trash bags/cleaning supplies (dishwashing detergent).Kitchen wasn't "fully equipped/gourmet": no basic items like salt/oil to cook; well loved pots/pans/utensils. We were expecting more given the listing."

"Emanuel went out of his way to help us in a jam! We had a reservation at an Airbnb that turned out to be a dump, it was late, he got us in a room, helped with our bags. We ended up staying for a week. I have never stayed in a cleaner hotel! All the staff was wonderful, very friendly and helpful. Pools were great and loved that there was a bar. Easy walk to the beach. Restaurants and grocery stores on the same street, walking distance. Highly recommend this hotel. "

"Best views. Excellent staff and clean room. Although property is a bit far and on a rocky road but when you reach there the views just take your breath away. Awesome experience. We could have stayed there for ever."

"Where do you start??? This place was amazing!! From start to finish Christine and her team made this stay special. After a short drive up the mountain you arrive at paradise to say the least. The views are the best I’ve ever seen, pool and outside space left us in awe, the inside open air design was fun to enjoy early mornings. Kevin the chef was top notch and made the best Banana bread. We will be back soon…. Every expectation was far exceeded, Thanks to Christine and the team!!"
