"The cottage was perfect for our first couple of nights in Scotland. We explored sights in the highlands and came home each day to our cozy abode. We didn’t get a chance to try the awesome wood stove/cook top but it was a beautiful backdrop. Beds were comfy, shower had great pressure and beautiful grounds to explore or just look at. Check out Tarvie, just up the road, for your breakfast coffee, hot rolls and baked goods - their tablet is the best!"

"Love at first sight is an overused phrase. But for us seeing the cottage in the distance as we drove across the Mound on the A9, it really was. The cottage was perfect in every sense. Cozy, comfortable and set with stunning views all around. The owner has equipped with everything you need to make this a perfect holiday home and the bonus of very comfortable beds at the end of the day. There are so many great walks in the area that coming back to the fantastic hot tub makes it all worth while....

"A lovely quiet location with great views. An excellent centre for exploring the Black Isle including watching dolphins at Chanonry Point. Really enjoyed visiting Cromarty despite the oil rigs in Cromarty Firth."

The house had everything that you could possibly need for your stay. We had an enjoyable time. If you are looking for a quiet getaway this is the place for you. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cottage was quintessential Scottish and beautiful. Beds very comfortable. Only suggestion would be to have a coffee maker for those of us who would like a pot of coffee and didn’t have a dryer. Fortunately we were able to dry clothes in the glorious sunshine while we were in the Highlands. Strathpeffer was a lovely place to visit. Drove to Ullapool for the day, great day trip. Overall, highly recommend this beautiful spot!"
