"We spent one night at the Hotel Grand. We had a great stay all around. Cesky Krumlov is beautiful and the hotel is in an excellent location. The breakfast was fantastic and they even provided a free ride to the bus station when we checked out."

"This was the best place we"ve stayed on our entire six-week trip, at a price less than half of what we would have paid in North America. Everything was amazing, from the breakfast to the room to the soaker tub. Big bonus points for the jaw-dropping deck view of the river and Cesky Krumlov Castle! Wish we were staying longer. Thank you!"

"The room should should be better insulated against sound from loud guests and also guests that are taking a shower in the next room. Otherwise the room was great."

"Pros: Room and building have character | Located in a main street so I felt safe | Comfortable bed | Power sockets were in the right places | Clean room | Very helpful staff (as they ordered my taxi to the bus station just in time) Suggestions for improvement:  Safe couldn't be opened | ramp or lift for suitcases / accessibility (only a few short steps up to first floor where my room was) | install USB power sockets | Provide moisturiser | Reception not being 24/7 was a bit scary at first, but they picked up my call to provide self-check-in instructions"

"Very convenient location. Short walk to town. Convenient on-site parking. Much preferable to staying in town and having to roll suitcases over cobblestones."

"Beautiful property with very large rooms, and everything you need. A very good shower and comfortable beds. The discount in the bar next door was a bonus, and a great place to drink! The service on check in was very welcoming and even got our laundry done for a small fee. Recommended to get a taxi if not driving from bus station as walking with cases on cobblestone is a tough one! Wish we could stay one more night!"

"Wonderful location in a historical building once owned by an alchemist. Easy to stroll through the whole town from here. Enormous room."
