"It was a perfect stay, not only because of the five star ratings I just gave for cleanliness, attentiveness, affordability and location, but because of Jade, and her generosity as as the Surf Inn’s representative. Her welcome. Her goodbye, the spread she put out for breakfast for me and only one other guest. She’s a keeper. I’ve stayed at the Surf Inn often and have always enjoyed it. This stay was special because of Jade."

"Beautiful property with a nice assortment of rooms, all with amazing coastal views. Miren was great from check in to check out, and gave us some recommendations for local beaches & attractions to check out. We had an amazing extended weekend & look forward to coming back! "

"The location is great with amazing views from the living room! The house is big and had a fireplace and comfy seating.Although it wasn’t super clean, it worked for us. When we stayed the owner was also there and we heard him opening and shutting the garage which is under the living room and was a little weird. They were also doing Laundry late at night which was a bit loud since it’s right out the front door. the listing did say that it was a split house and the owners could be there and they would be super quiet. That was not the case.Also the beach is not a private beach. Meaning you are not the only people there. It’s a beautiful beach though and is a few minutes drive from the houseOverall the location wins and the house is a good reprieve from the city and is close to point arena!"

"Breakfast was very good with views that were even better. We especially enjoyed the free tesla charging stations. Units spread out over large piece of property so never felt crowded."

"Checking was great because the staff was super friendly and accommodating. Parking was convenient and appreciated because everything in the area was pretty much walkable. The view from the suite a was beautiful of the ocean. We loved it!"

"Bed was a little to hard to sleep on and one of the besides lights sometimes glitched but would recommend and we will be staying again. Down side not a lot of good food options around the area so plan accordingly. "

"Terrific homemade biscuits and vegetarian gravy! Property was really lovely; fragrant garden and pretty pathways throughout. We enjoyed using the hottub for both nights of our stay. I dug the decor in our room and the bedding was super cozy."

"This location in the quiet town of Gualala was perfect for us. Very accommodating. . We are in our 70’s and have just discovered we get pretty tired with the stairs, especially in the moving in and moving out process. The views are lovely and nearby access to beaches for beach walks really sweetened the trip. Mike was very responsive to our inquiries."
