  • Located in a nice and quiet spot right outside the village Arenas, this 3-bedroom holiday home is perfect for a holiday with a 6-member family or group. To enhance your stay, the holiday home has a private swimming pool for summer fun and a large terrace with a view of the mountains.

    The town center with supermarkets, restaurants, and horse riding opportunities rests at 3 km. Sleepy villages such as Daimalos or large villages with cozy town squares like Competa and Sayalonga are great for exploration. After a short drive, you can reach the beach of Torre del Mar, where the children can build sandcastles while you are relaxing on a sunbed.

    All bedrooms are air-conditioned. From the cozy living room, you can move out to the private roofed terrace and sit in the fresh air. There is a barbecue to enjoy your summer evenings until the wee hours. An outside shower is present if you wish to was up after a swim. A pet is allowed for free. You may request for a cot and high chair.

The villa is very nice andcomfortable, the terrace and the plants are beautiful. The view is spectacular .There are a few things that could be improved. The beds are very small for modern standards. And the sheets are still too small to fit. The duvet were of a proper size The mattress was soso. The instruction for the house was lacking some essential information and was not up to date. No info on shopping options, markets, supermarkets, restaurants, and emergency services. The carekeeper of the house, Pépé, is very friendly and helpful. Do bring a translation app if your Spanish is not fluent.

The Perfect Home Away from Home.

This villa is an undisputed gem. Nestled in breathtaking hills, it offers unparalleled views and peace. My family of four plus our dog stayed for a month and felt instantly at home. Every amenity you could wish for is at your fingertips. Location: It's remotely situated, which only adds to its allure. Lush gardens with mango and olive trees offer various spots to enjoy awe-inspiring sunsets. Daily needs are a mere 25-minute drive away, and in just 30 minutes, you can be in the vibrant town of Torre Del Mar with its fantastic beach and dining options. A quick 8-minute drive leads to Arenas, an idyllic Spanish town with a charming supermarket. We had no issues with insects. House: It boasts three luxurious bedrooms and equally grand bathrooms. The pool is its crown jewel, maintained diligently by Pepe, the owner. The well-equipped kitchen made cooking a breeze, especially with a handy outdoor BBQ and tap. The Wi-Fi is superb—zero disruptions even though I worked throughout our stay. The house is so well-designed that we rarely needed air conditioning. Gardens: A true oasis filled with amazing plants, cacti, herbs, and fruits. My kids loved watering them, witnessing their growth over our stay. It's clear that these gardens have been lovingly tended for years. Experience: Simply put, it's the Spanish retreat we've always dreamt of. We were heartbroken to leave but eager to return. This property is a treasure.

Villa Maripossa - Cortijo del abuelo

Very pleasant stay in a beautiful and authentic house in the rural hills near Arenas. Nice and big pool and a great terrace, where we experienced lots of sunsets with a glass of wine. Very friendly and helpful contact with the spanish couple who rent the Villa Mariposa. After a few days we get used to the steep track from the main road to the house.

À la recherche de tranquillité, déconnexion ? Ceci est pour vous.La villa dispose par ailleurs de plusieurs emplacements qui permettent de choisir l'ombre ou le soleil pour siroter son café. Elle offre tout le confort nécessaire. Sa piscine est grande et bien entretenue. Rien à redire.

Wij hebben erg genoten van het vakantiehuis in Arenas. Het huis is echt helemaal in orde en alles wat nodig is is aanwezig. Het was bij aankomst heel netjes en schoon. De afspraak met de eigenaar verliep goed waarna hij ons vervolgens naar het huis begeleidde. Dat is de eerste keer echt wel nodig. Het huis is zeker een aanrader!

Ontvangst door de vriendelijke beheerder/eigenaar die je naar de villa brengt. Prachtige villa met heerlijk zwembad. Villa is zeer compleet ingericht. Alles wat je nodig zou kunnen hebben is voor handen en alles is brandschoon (binnen en buiten). Verschillende terrassen waardoor je altijd voor de zon of de schaduw kunt kiezen. Goede warmwatervoorziening. Veel privacy in een rustige omgeving. Kortom: Top! De onverharde weg er naar toe is prima te doen.

Heel goede ontvangst van de eigenaar. 2 weken verbleven in deze mooie villa met een heerelijke zwembad, mooie kamers met goede werkende airco’s, de douches hebben lekker warm water. De villa is hoog gelegen op een heuvel, je hebt natuurlijk veel privacy en rust. Het nadeel is dan wel dat de weg steil en hoog maar na een paar ritten wen je er wel aan. Een klein nadeel aan zo’n huizen in de natuur zijn de mieren in huis en de beestjes rondom het huis.

Villa mariposa muy bonita

La casa esta muy cuidada y es como muestran las fotos, lo que nosotros destacamos fue la limpieza y el encontrar todo tipo de detalle , utensilios de cocina, accesorios para la piscina... La villa esta situada en medio de la montaña con unas vistas espectaculares , lo único que podriamos decir que al estar retirada es necesario llevar previsiones para unos días y no tener que acudir al supermercado mucho, pero en general todo fantástico. Estuvimos en el mes de Agosto metidos todo el rato en el agua ( temperatura ideal). La persona que nos atendio súper simpático y atento con nosotros, le agradecemos el trato.

Het huis is zeer rustig gelegen in de heuvels nabij Arenas. Aankomst en ontmoeting met beheerder lverliep soepel. Villa Mariposa biedt heel privacy, weg naar het huis vrij steil . Qua inrichting en voorzieningen helemaal compleet. Vaatwasser, Wasmachine, keukeninventaris , bed- en huishoudlinnen laten niets te wensen over, alle slaapkamers voorzien van goed werkende airco. Zwembad prachtig, wordt regelmatig gereinigd. Kortom een toplocatie waar wij , 1 volwassene en 4 kinderen , 2 hele fijne weken hebben doorgebracht

De omgeving was prachtig, je had mooi uitzicht op de bergen. Het huisje was alleen wel lastig te vinden de eerste keer, maar als je eenmaal weet waar het zit is de weg makkelijk te onthouden. En het was het zoeken waard want het huisje is prachtig. Perfecte vakantiehuis als je veel bij het zwembad wil liggen en wil genieten van het uitzicht

Mooie villa met vriendelijk ontvangst van de eigenaar. Het huis ligt wel erg afgelegen van de bewoonde wereld. De dichtstbijzijnde supermarkt is 25 min. Rijden. Het huis zelf is goed verzorgd en voorzien van alle gemakken. Wij hebben een heerlijke week gehad.

Het is een fantastisch mooi huis op een prachtige plek. Wel erg afgelegen, maar daardoor veel rust en privacy. De rit er naartoe leek aanvankelijk een uitdaging, maar viel eigenlijk best mee. Alle comfort is aanwezig, fijne keuken, net en praktisch sanitair. Super fijn zwembad en wij genoten van de verschillende plekjes waar je kunt zitten.

La maison est située dans la montagne. L’accès n’est pas des plus faciles mais ça passe en roulant doucement. Par contre cela vaut le coup car la maison est très agréable à vivre. Nous y avons passé une très bonne semaine.
