The cottage is in a very quiet area with a great beach nearby. The kitchen was very well equipped and the bed was super comfy. I also loved the movies on DVD. Everything about my stay was wonderful.

Amazing trip!

We had such a fantastic time staying at the cottage! Our three children absolutely loved the beach, it was so nice having it right at our doorstep. The cottage was well equipped and perfect for our family!

Great location for further exploration of PEI

Dan and Laurie have a cute cottage, reasonably close to the water. The plus for us was the location to see the sights we wanted to see. We enjoyed our brief stay.

Lovely cottage getaway

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay - the cottage is comfortable, nicely appointed and well-stocked. Great location for exploring PEI, which we did every day! We had the distinction of being the first guests of the 2024 season and were rewarded with great weather! Highly recommend Leslie’s cottage.

Accommodation, Location and Host all excellent!

Great location, good access to beach, quite community. Close enough to start our costal drives, to tourist attractions and the city of Charlottetown. Cottage was cozy, clean and perfect for our 5 night stay. Host, Leslie was quick to respond to our request for booking and other inquiries before and during our stay.

It was a perfect and central location on the island, short walk to the beach, and a perfect cottage that had everything we could need! Leslie was a great host, answering every question we had!! Would definitely come back!

Cottage is as it seems in pictures. Great location as a starting point for all 3 scenic routes around PEI. Nothing is too far PEI🙂

A great stay!

We had a great week here. Close to the beach (2 minute walk) and great low tide adventures with the kids. It’s a great location to explore all points of the island. A lovely deck and fire pit for end of day relaxing. Thanks for the memories!

Sweet cottage

Cottage was exactly as described, except for how sweet it was!! A couple of minutes walk to the stairs to the beach which was amazing at low tide. We were left pamphlets on things to do and places to eat, so thoughtful! Would recommend this cottage to anybody wanting a peaceful getaway!

Leslie's cottage was the perfect location for our first vacation as a family of 3. My husband and I travelled with our 11 month old and we couldn't have had a better time. The cottage was a 2 minute walk to a beach only for residents of the area. She had beach towels, sand toys, and even water wings for older kids. Her collection of movies and board games made for some fun evenings. The cottage had a booster seat and pack n play for our little one. The cottage was 10-15 minutes from Victoria-by-the-Sea and about 30 minutes from popular tourist locations such as Cavendish and Charlottetown. Close enough for day trips but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Leslie's communication was impeccable and her binder for local favourites was a great added touch. Would recommend this place to anyone!

Simple pleasures and peace by the ocean

Thank you so much Leslie and Dan, we had a fantastic time at your cottage! It provided a great space to relax in comfort with the family The ocean view is beautiful and we had amazing weather to enjoy ourselves at the beach exploring the sea life and searching for sea glass. Our stay brought back so many happy memories and created new ones. We will highly recommend to family and friends.

Great place to relax

I came to PEI to explore and connect with the L.M. Montgomery history. But, I fell in love with the relaxing scenery of the island. This cottage was a great place to do just that. The historical and tourist locations were close enough to drive. Then we could come back to the cottage and nearby beach to relax and just enjoy the atmosphere. Fabulous!

Lovely PEI Cottage

We had a wonderful vacation while staying in this clean, comfortable, cute cottage! The area is beautiful and peaceful with a lovely beach just a short walk away. Coming from out of province, the cottage had everything we wanted and needed. We particularly appreciated the air conditioning and having access to a washer and dryer. The owners were easy to communicate with, friendly, and helpful. Overall, it was a great experience!

Nice little spot.

Nice little spot just a minute walk from the ocean where you can collect shells, admire the low tide and walk the ocean floor. Very cool. Clean. We found the bathroom a little tight and it didn't have a vent fan (if that's important to you haha), but it wouldn't stop us from booking again :)

A lovely little ocean vacation

A five-minute walk to the ocean is what we wanted, and it is what we got. The cottage was a nice size for our family of five, enough beds for everyone and two living areas so you can get some quiet time. Again, being able to walk to the ocean is a massive plus, Charlottetown is a 20-30 minute drive away and the busier beaches of the north shore are about a 40-minute drive away. But the beach behind the house is beautiful, nice and quiet, we barely saw anyone there and we went just about every day for a week. It was perfect.

Argyle Beach House

The cottage was well laid out and we needed for nothing. Although the facilities were were older than we expected, they were well appointed and clean. We did walk the beach one afternoon and it was nice. From the listing, we got the idea the cottage would have been closer to the beach with a wide open look at the Straights. Unfortunately, the cottage was set back a block and a half from the beach. The location was perfect for day in Charlottetown or the western side of the island. It would be quite remote if your interests were more of the east side of PEI. The owner was polite, communicated well and stayed in touch with us and was very helpful. We definitely appreciated that. All in all, it was good value. it would even be better if your first interest is the beach.
