"The Cacharel is like going back in time to a French ranch house. Staff is incredible- food is amazing. Gorgeous large pool (eat there!) rooms all have AC and are comfortable. Incredible location right by marshes with hundreds of flamingos and ample places to ride the iconic white horses. We had no idea how amazing this part of the world is. Would absolutely recommend if you want a wonderful once in a lifetime family adventure! We loved our stay (and added a night!) "

"First impressions were pleasant. We were a family of 5 staying in the family room with private bathroom. The room was quite basic - large enough for the 5 of us, with x2 double beds and a single bed comfortably fitting in the room. However it was lacking features that you may expect in hotels and especially for longer stays - eg) TV. "The grounds of the hotel were fabulous! I actually saw a flock of pink flamingos fly above the hotel. The employees were very helpful and friendly. Hotel is well situated for visiting the Camargue area and offers ample parking. However, the smell of humidity was very strong in the room and not pleasant."

Plenty of choices available for breakfast and a lovely setting with indoor/options to enjoy the meal. Staff was very friendly and helpful! Our room was a bit tight for three adults, but we were fortunate to get the last room available! Would recommend this hotel for families and those looking for a convenient location for exploring Camargue and Mediterranean. "
