Convenient to downtown Manchester's outlet stores and restaurants,golf (equinox golf course 3 miles away) hiking, kayaking and fishing (battenkill river)skiing-Stratton or Bromley, hot tub on full deck with close-up views of Mount Equinox, these mountain views will either make you weep or sing for joy, dines 8 easy, master on main (king bed). This home was intended to bring INSIDE the natural beauty you see OUTSIDE. Complete with vaulted living area and exposed timber beams throughout!
Welcome to the MOUNTAIN NEST! Granite counter-tops in fully equipped kitchen. Open-flow design with cathedral living room space exposing beam work opens up to deck and views of Manchester's Mount Equinox. Master bedroom on main level with KING bed, 2 bedrooms upstairs (queen beds) have vaulted ceilings.....all bedroom have exposed beam-work. Upstairs bedrooms have sky-lights. Beautiful loft area with a large palladium window facing amazing views. The couch on the loft pulls out to comfortable queen bed (there's an extra fee per guest after 6 people). All bedrooms including loft area have A/C. Bathroom upstairs has a skylight over the shower/Tub. Bathroom down stairs has custom built shower. Large oaks, beech, and maple trees tower over the deck area giving you a sense that everything about this home harmonizes with what is seen outside. Step out onto the deck and simply unwind on the deck furniture or.....in the 7 person hot tub. Either way, you will be captivated by this one-of-a-kind home with its beautiful surroundings. Very charming and very Vermont!

Best of Both Worlds

We love staying in Mountain Nest! We are close enough to town and all the wonderful restaurants and shops yet we felt like we were staying in the mountains!!

Great house for a GF getaway!

House was accurately described. Kitchen was well-equipped. Village of Manchester is just a short drive away. Deck and hot tub were awesome!

This home was one of the most spectacular that I have rented. We were sorry to not have stayed longer! The view from this home was awe inspiring! We enjoyed the hot tub and well appointed deck to soak in this panoramic view of the forested mountain side. If you had kids along there even was a grassy lawn below the deck. This home was beautifully decorated and so comfortable. The bedrooms and bathrooms were all decorator perfect! The kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans and dishes. I appreciated the showers being equipped with hotel like shampoo, conditioner and shower gel dispensers. Truly this home hits all the marks for perfection. We would love to stay there again!

Great views and accommodations

We had a great stay and enjoyed waking up each morning to the Mountain Views. Night time dips in the hot tub and enjoying time with friends. The house is in a great location, quick trip into Manchester center and walking trails.

Great 4-night getaway in the clouds!

Perfect House for Vermont Trip!

I stayed here with 8 people and the house was great for all of us. It was clean and comfortable and the hot tub was an extra plus. I would recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay in Sunderland!

My friends and I had a wonderful stay at Mountain Nest. The house is lovely and nestled into the Green Mountains with close proximity to Arlington, Manchester, and surrounding hikes and activities. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Perfect Vacation

The house was beautiful, clean, spacious and had everything we needed including games for adults and kids. The views were spectacular and the location was convenient to dining, shopping and attractions. We are frequent visitors to Vermont and this was our best stay so far.

Family Stay for. Weekend Wedding

Mountain Nest was an extraordinary spot for a weekend stay in Vermont! The house was so comfortable and cozy with plenty of space to lounge and enjoy meals. What spectacular fall foliage in the mountains and all around from the wraparound deck- and the hot tub was a delight. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to come back again!

Exactly as described. Really nice home with excellent property communications. We loved the hot tub on the deck and the amazing views. Nice kitchen that was well equipped with all appliances needed. Bring your own sharp knives :-).

We loved the are and we enjoyed hiking, kayaking and biking. There is also farmer's market everywhere and you can enjoy local produce. A perfect place to enjoy the nature, fresh food and relax.

Fantastic Rental

One of the nicest VRBO’s we have ever rented. Beautiful view off the back deck overlooking the mountains. Extremely comfortable beds, well stocked kitchen and a quick ride over to Manchester for shopping and many dinner options. The owners were great and thought of everything, great place to stay with our 2 small dogs and teenaged daughter.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mountain Nest near Manchester. Comfortable and clean, the house was just what we wanted. We were at a wedding just 10 minutes away at the Hildene so it was very convenient for us. A great view of the mountains plus a hot tub. We could not have asked for more.

Lovely home!

The house was fantastic, it truly brought the real feeling of Vermont out - cozy and relaxed. Not only did it provide the Vermont feeling out, but it also had many additional features such as the hot tub and also the fantastic unexpected sledding hill. Overall, the house was a great stay and I would definitely recom/mend this house.

Perfect getaway

We loved our stay in Sunderland. We had a wedding down the road, and the house was perfect for our group of friends. We hiked a ton and then explored Manchester. Great location, and great hot tub! Alex was helpful and communicative about check in and check out. Would definitely love to come back to experience the house/Vermont in another season.
