Well appointed and a great location

This was a great place to stay. We were tucked up at the top of a building in the heart of Armentieres. The fact that we were in the centre meant that popping out to a bakery to get fresh bread and pasteries for breakfast (always one of our favourite things to do in France) was easy to do - and there are some great bakeries in Armentieres! In the end we didn't use the station but this would definitely have been an option and means that you have access to Lille but from a relatively quiet and middle class town. We were able to park on the street, but there is also a carpark a few metres from the building. We were travelling with 3 teenagers (!). Although the property would ideally suit 2 people or a couple with small children, for a couple of nights for 5 of us it was fine. This had a lot to do with how well designed the place is (the interior was modelled by an interior designer) but also with how well our host looked after us. Christian was amazing. We arrived the night before the Tour de France departed from Lille which meant that lots of things were blocked off - including our apartment. Christian thought it all through for us and it all turned out well.

Un loft magnifique tres fonctionnel. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la décoration et l'emplacement. L'environnement est calme. Les conditions d'acces sont faciles et Christian est tres attentif aux besoins des occupants. Nous reviendrons.
